Coming up on the 3rd anniversary of his passing, I just learned that not only was he the drummer but wrote most of the song lyrics.

Also, it's no mystery. It's well known that Peart wrote the lyrics for the song. But your connection of the song's lyrics to matriarchal societies is tenuous at best.

This is vexing, and frankly, quite juvenile.
