My dogs Maverick and Goose now have a Bogey to pursue. Looks like they've got their work cut out for them as Bogey has commandeered one of their beds.
Some will die in hot pursuit
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes

Handsome gray tiger.
That was the case every time I've had a dog and cat under the same roof. Within a day or two the cat would start to assert dominance over the dog. Out of three cases only one got away with it.
Well, in the interest of full transparency, Maverick is locked behind a gate while the cat gets used to the new accommodations, because Maverick hates cats more than me.

Sounds like you've got your hands full.
Awww
I am just saying, she will have them whipped into shape in no time at all !
Cat obviously can't read .........................
I've got a Pit Bull/Doberman cross named Thor that weighs about 100 pounds..I wouldn't take a brand new 4-wheel drive truck for that dog.. also have 2 cats and they get along good.. because if he ever kills one of the cats I will have to give him a .44 magnum headache..
Dogs appreciate every thing you do for them, cats expect it. Don't worry, you and the dogs will become accustomed to being the cats servants. I speak from experience. Bob
Congrats
Too many dog and cat stories
But I amsure all have plenty of their own lol
Ours found us in a snow storm three years ago, lost and hungry. Took weeks of leaving food on the porch before she would come in the house,. She allows us to sleep with her now!! As soon as the lights go out she is on the bed. But is still ever on the alert and hides whenever we have company. We wouldn't trade her for the world. She loves to ride, has been to Colorado twice, 1200 miles, one way just enjoying Our company and watching the scenery go by at 85 MPH!
I was once an absolute DOG only person. The wife, after many years finally got her way and adopted a CAT. It took me some time to get over my dislike but now I find having a cat like ours has made me realize just how GREAT it is to have him as a true member of our Pack!
Our little "Junior" was just a tiny little thing that was found motherless and abandoned and left at our local shelter. Not quite weened yet, wife was allowed to take him home and bottle feed. Raised with our two K-9's who both took Jr. under their wings (and tongues). Our little cat is now a very big cat and does just about everything our dogs do except bark!
Oh! He does use his litter boxes (2) and has only left the house twice in the past 4 years for vet visits.
Hope you get as much enjoyment from your Bogey buddy as I have Mr.P!
Maverick and Goose gonna find out there is a New Top Gun in town....
Oh yeah!!
Yer right, but they can spell--wrongly. I've seen their autographs all over the place since I was a kid. (KaT)
My two barn cats are outside only. They have not and never will step foot into my house. They greet me every morning at the back door (glass) as soon as I turn on the light over the sink to make coffee. They follow me around the yard as i do chores but do their own thing when I am not home or in the house.
Our border collie Francine adopted a stray cat. Now the first thing she does when she gets outside is look for Zoe. She doesn't mind the cats inside but she seems to think that Zoe is her buddy.
This one will be once it is big enough. Right now it is only 14 weeks old. It's close, but it's not quite ready and it's currently too cold outside to just raise him in my (as yet unheated) shop.

Good looking group there. Congrats to you and them.
What happened to the Bogey? I was gonna post and ask how he/she is doing earlier this morning, but got side tracked....
Bogey got his nuts cut off and was unavailable for the group photo.

Me, realizing MiG was a bit out of focus, decided to post another of her. These two cats are about the same age and will be barn cats come warm weather.

Cats are ok if you keep them in the house or on a leash our pen outside.
Single largest thing responsible for the decline of songbirds is the housecat.
We have 2 cats that are strictly indoor only. Never been outside.
In the pictures I'll believe they become "outside" or barn cats when I see it... they do have a tendency to get their way...😀
OMG! It looks like our mods are turning into crazy cat ladies!
Zoe is very selective hunter, voles, mice, baby rabbits and baby squirrels. Doesn't seem to like birds, maybe it's to much work.
Just when I was beginning to like you. Cat hater? When your time comes, may you go to the great cat box in the sky.
Cat's are like Einstein compared to dog's.. don't get me wrong I love both.. but cat's are so much smarter than dogs it's ridiculous...
Well, at this point the time to move them outside can't come soon enough. They will have to because I am allergic to cats. Fortunately, kittens don't have the hormones I am most allergic to, not in any quantity anyway.
