There are cat hunters on the same ranch, already put three in the bag ,,,,, the cats are becoming a nuisance.
Where those elk are is where my buddies young children, years ago, were pulling a small sled, with a mini 4wheeler with a 20’ rope. Their dog came running out of the bush with a lion close behind. The dog and cat went between the 4 wheeler and the sled. The oldest boy hit the gas and the cat decided the chase was over and the dog never again went with the youngsters, anywhere !!
Now that makes for a good cowboy campfire tale for those young’ins
