Got the DNA results on Kimber. There are 7 levels that the results can fall into. Each level is determined by the percentage of DNA detected per breed.
Kimber is, Level 1, 61 - 99 % German Shepard
And, Level 3, 26 - 39 % Great Pyrenees

Potentially 138% dog but perhaps as low as 87%.
that's thinking like an engineer,,,
Joe, are you sure Warbirds drove trains?
Whatever she's still a goof looking doggo!
Montanajoe, does she have the Great Pyrenees extra toe? My daughter has a mystery beagle mix that has it. That and the hair texture are the only outward clues - otherwise looks like a 16 inch beagle with slightly shorter ears.
great now the goverment knows😲
Haven't looked yet, explain what I'm looking for never heard of this before.
OK, had to do a search, and found this, of which I never knew;
Some breeds, such as Great Pyrenees and several other flock guardian breeds, naturally have one or even two dewclaws on their rear feet as well. They don't really serve any purpose but are considered part of breed type and are never removed
I then went and looked her over. No extra toe, anywhere.
Thanks for the schooling @tnranger
No they don't,,,,,I have the documents in the garage.

Glad you were able to find it - I left to watch Wells Fargo. The extra toe is an interesting looking thing if you ever see it. Great Pyrenees are interesting dogs in themselves. Neighbor had one that showed up one morning carrying a young fawn. Wasn't hurting it - just was mothering it. Neighbor had to make it turn the fawn loose.
Our Kimber is great. She has personality and attitude both. She is very smart. Wouldn't trade her for anything.
