Sooooo tired of dealers that don't know the rules or who overzelously support every restriction
I swear, every time I deal with an FFL that makes things extra difficult or adds their own list of nonsense you must obey to get things done I picture times in history when these sorts of people didn't realize they were the problem.....but are now thought of as evil.
The Maya human sacrifices.
The Salem witch trials were full of "normal" people that burned someone because they thought they were a witch.
People hunting down slaves to get them back to their owners.
There were several everyday people pointing out where Jews were hidden during WWII.
All these nonsense rule following idiots that can't be bothered to look up what the details are of what is going on and use common sense.....thinking is not allowed.....its just get in line with the rules or there will be hell to pay.
I'm just sick of it.
This whole brace nonsense has some dealers ready to burn people at the stake. Its crazy.

There are people like that in every profession.
The serial killer known as BTK stopped murdering people when he became a code enforcement officer. How would you like HIM running the neighborhood?
There are a LOOOOT of turncoat "gun people" out there.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Sounds like it is time to change hobbies!
There are fewer and fewer "true" gun dealers out there. Eventually all you'll have are box stores with nobody working there with any skill whatsoever. Every regulation....rule....ammendment....its a LOT to put up with, but why make it more than what you must put up with??? You'll miss me when I'm gone! :)
If there is a dime to be made there will ALWAYS be someone there to make it.
Some people are just determined to put themselves out of business without the ability to see that they were the reason it happened.
Just making an assumption here, did you send out guns received by dealers after January 31st that were equipped with psbs?
I see a time coming soon when firearms will be sold in state owned stores only, much like Alabama's state owned liquor stores (you still have the right to buy alcohol but it has to come through us) type deal. Privately owned retail gun shops will be a memory like other type businesses we've lost......gone but not forgotten.

That is a FACT!
A very broad brush you paint with, Kasey.
While I sympathize, comparing an unsure and new dealer with someone who knowingly sent people to slaughter may be, well, ever so slightly, exaggerated?

Fact is, if I want to sell guns without finding myself in jail I have to follow laws set forth, my opinion of those laws is irrelevant.
A couple things you complained about in two of your last posts are contrary to that.
As of January 31st psbs are illegal on most ar pistols, I had like 8 of them in stock I had to reconfigure last week.
The post where you complained about the receiving dealer throwing away the bolt was probably valid but you made a comment waiting until the customer comes in before opening the box was ignorant. Guns have to be checked into the A&D book the day the are received.
We have dealt with minor stuff like receiving ffls making us send our ffl first or some crap but I don't think that type of stuff is what you are talking about.
The upcoming soon to happen WW-III will settle all of our minor problems. I see Charlton Heston standing on the beach looking at a half submerged Statue Of Liberty saying "My God, they finally did it!".
This is the problem.....the rule is that you have to register your items BY May 31.....we still have time to sell what is on the shelves, transfer items and get things into buyer's hands well before any problem date. Idiots are acting like this date is here NOW and we are all going to jail if we say the word "brace" out loud. Dealers are even calling the ATF and asking if they can sell braces and they are being told NO.....but if you just read it for yourself you'll see this is NOT TRUE. May 31....that is the date it becomes the most evil thing ever created, but until then you're good.
I get being worried and on top of things, but there are things that you don't have to worry over as much as it seems you do. You actually have some time still on the brace thing and its perfectly fine to sell what you have....so long as the buyer understands what they need to do (either remove the brace or put a rifle upper on it.)
As far as transfers...you have 15 days before something is required to be logged in. It can sit there and be opened by the customer so you don't have to deal with whatever headache is waiting there. We typically get calls from whoever is getting things because they follow the tracking and can't wait to get whatever it is.
