I almost feel guilty saying this. It will be in the upper 70s here in S.C. this afternoon!!

With what some of you are facing in the current winter storm it seems cruel to mention our South Carolina weather. Yesterday afternoon I was running the air conditioning in my car!! It only got up to 78 degrees but the hot southern sun got the car a lot hotter than 78.
I know I pay for this great weather with the high heat and humidity of June, July and August but I'm young enough to turn on the air, but I am WAY to old to be shoveling snow!!!!!
I hope all you guys in this nasty weather stay home and ride this storm out!! Be safe!!

You must be a squeaky wheel because you got degrees.
24 and calm here, between storms. Got eight inches of fluffy white yesterday, which translates to about 3/4" of water. Some of it will melt today before the next big one this weekend.
Getting hammered with ice here in southern Michigan. Already have about a half inch hanging on the trees and power lines, with more coming this afternoon. What a disaster, power outages everywhere.
Made it to work this morning after moving several trees with my SxS, just to get to the main road, and then four police roadblocks on the way in, with literally hundreds of trees on the roads throughout my 27 mile commute.
-16 here. Put a rear end in the recliner and set the snooze control
.
Some people love rubbing it in!
I'm sorry to announce that the temps here for the next week are between 84 and 90 degrees. Our pool is already up to 80 degrees this morning.
Been a record setting year in most weather categories, Orlando had a record high for February in recorded history.
"Not sorry - Reeses"
The last two days the high was 80 and I really enjoyed it but it will be cooler today and dropping rain again tomorrow... Texas.
Hurricane on Saturday there.😈
-8 with a 20 mph wind this morning....
Same same. Wind chill was a bit brisk while out feeding the critters.
been out moving snow since 4:30 this morning , had solid 2 foot drifts to get thru, that wind yesterday and last night really packed it in
It got down to 65 last night. Don
I got lucky for a change. You guys got most of the ice and north of me in Midland they got 7+ inches of snow. I've got about an inch and a half of frozen crusty stuff on the ground. Last I heard there was about 650,000 customers without power between Consumers Power and DTE. Where I live, power outages are frequent but I don't think the lights even flickered last night. I know that some of the folks are predicted to not have power until Monday or so.
Of course this is a semi-normal occurrence here in Michigan, but if it happens in other states the national news makes a super big deal about it. I guess we don't rate very high on the disaster hyperbole meter.🤔 Bob
We had 1 above and 25 mph winds. Just nice for February.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
We are up to 2below zero. Just finished a hellish storm that had roads covered in smooth ice.
The power outage is never an issue for the wife and I, as we have a 20K generator. It's our parents that we're concerned about, but we always seem to make it through these bumpy spells.
I was in Osseo helping my brother last night, and we heard thunder for about an hour, which was really weird with the cold temps.
Hopefully this next wave misses us.
Go ahead and feel guilty now. I'll remind you of it in July when it's 12% humidity here.
With your recent back surgery I'm guessing you are even worse at shoveling snow than I am!!😁
To be worse than me is saying something!! I'm about slap plumb worthless ever since my stroke!! Your comment about 12% humidity reminds of when I lived in Arizona. Low humidity is a wonderful thing!!
I think we're in the same weather system.

Yep, you usually get it and send it to me.
I don't know if I should envy you or make you feel guilty. 😊
We are have freezing rain and everything is covered in ice.
And I get to siphon off a little bit while it's in transit. We're all the way up to 2 whole degrees... Above Zero! Wow! It's a heat wave!
Looking at the Consumers Power outage map, Hillsdale looks like a little island of power in a sea of outages. That generator is probably coming in handy. Hope your parents make out o.k. I just came in from trying to move some of the ice/snow off of the driveway and gave up after a 1/2 hour. My new theory is God put it there and will make it go away when he is done with it! 😊 Bob
This is a bad year for me to be unable to run my blow snower. My good neighbor does mine for me. I slipped him a gift card and a Gerber multi-tool as thanks.
My wife is down at our place on the Isle of Palms! We had a BIG ice storm there (Wisc.) today and of course she called and rubbed it in.🤨
