How is your Saturday going ?

I got an early start. My Bride made breakfast for a dozen of us at the 7:00 a.m. men's study at church. She provided us with sausage/egg/hashbrown casserole, sweet rolls, fruit and plenty of coffee. Great food and fellowship with a bunch of great guys.
I took a nap when I got home (I am starting to really embrace taking a good nap from time to time) and got moving again late morning. Put on some great tunes and set up a few projects in the basement. Sorting out things in the safe was a necessary project as it has been neglected since the end of hunting season. Cleaned a few guns, sorted some items I need to list on GB one of these days. Ever had one of those days where the more you accomplish, the further behind you find yourself.
Some farm paperwork and planning for the farm came up next. I intend to take my bride out to a nice little diner this evening. Hopefully the rain will let up by then....

Absolutely brilliant! Had lunch with my daughter (she's in town for the weekend). She has grown into the kind of person you really want to hang out with and talk to. College has done her good, being on her own has done her good, and I couldn't be happier for her. :)
Now getting ready for dinner with my wife, and in-laws. Perfect day. Wouldn't change any of it.

Slept in, hit the gym for a workout . Did a little grocery shopping . While I was doing this my son and grand daughter got into a car wreck . Uninsured illegal.mexican with no dl or insurance or valid vehicle registration rear-ended them . Granddaughter is pretty upset , luck no one was hurt . Wonder how this will play out with insurance company .

My day has been pretty good. For one thing, the weather is gorgeous. Blue skies and 42 degrees. I got outside for a walk today - the first time out in four months. Went up and down the sidewalk two neighbors each side, twice. Dang If I didn't get stopped THREE times by neighbors who saw me and came out to see how I'm doing. Stiffened up standing there every time. Was plumb tired afterwards.
worked on my rental doing trim work, finishing the kitchen, replacing a few doors and electrical work. Son surprised me and stopped in to help. I never ask him, because he is always busy either working or fixing cars on the side. He even brought me coffee and a breakfast sandwich. Made my day.
I am happy to hear they were not seriously injured.....hope insurance steps up and takes care of the rest !
Your folks insurance should have an uninsured motorist coverage.
It is aok for illegals to do this sort of thing, Legal folks, not no lucky.
Car is still financed and has full coverage including uninsured motorist . Around here , eastern nc , we are so overun with illegals only an idiot would opt out of the coverage. On the fire dept we refer to them when involved in an accident as jumping beans . Should be evident why .
