Baptism day

A couple of weeks ago, my nephews and niece were baptized. In fact, there were about 20 people baptized that day. Each one paused with the pastor to make their commitment and speak a bit about why they are getting baptized. A little girl, about 8, said with perfect, matter-of-fact directness: "the Holy Spirit asked me to". To her, it was as simple as that.
I got chills. I will always remember that kid. Sometimes, the smallest things can be the most meaningful.

I agree with that, @toad67 . I was baptized as a kid and reaffirmed at age 50.
