Bidding on a Firearm - (It's Mine.) [Brought it Home Today.] 😁
Picked it up at my FFL, this am before heading in to work. Very pleased with what I received. 😁
What a Work of Art. Just Gorgeous. 👍
The absolute BEST Trigger I have ever pulled. Very, very light pull. No creep, breaks like a small glass rod. (Can't get over what a nice trigger it has.) No surprise really, given that the former owner was competing in the NRA National Steel Silhouette Championship Series. (2001/2002 stickers attached.) [Serial # 3380, if that means anything to anyone.]
Just thrilled to have finally scratched that XP-100 Itch. (And a beautifully modified Competition piece to boot.) Very pleased with what I got it at. (Compared to the various stock XP-100's up for auction.)
Wish I had the soft case that these normally come with, (But) it was not listed and I was not surprised it was not included. 😔
Ammo should show up in about a week. Can not wait, to shoot it.
Ordered ammunition, through Hendershots, not sure who gave me the link, but Thank You. (I will go back and look.) Have the Website, saved to my "Notes," for future orders. Very nice/helpful folks.
May have to take up reloading for this one. (7mm Remington BR.) Roughly $3.00/round+ commercial.
If there was any fault with the original XP100 design it was the trigger. Because of the need for a link added so the trigger could be moved forward like it has, some complained about the factory trigger. A competent gunsmith could do wonders as far as improving it and it sounds like yours, fortunately, has had this work done.
Once you give it a try, be sure and give us a range report. This topic caused me to dig out my TC Super 14 but the weather has sucked for the last couple of weeks so I haven't made it to the range yet. Bob
Will do @Kevin_L. I have three boxes of 7mm BR coming from Hendershot's. (Very helpful/knowledgeable folks.) There was a two week wait, before shipping. (Production?) I should see them end of this week or early next. I am very anxious to try this puppy out. 🤔
Very pleased with my purchase and what I scored it for. 👍😁
Day off, so I'm oiling it up and fondling it, just now. (The firearm.) 🙄
The only thing I have ever seen the XP100 guns used for was certain classes of IHMSA shooting. I never saw many of them as the Contenders and some other guns were more popular. Be very careful with that light trigger. I remember seeing a XP100 in the same caliber as yours firing when the shooter closed the bolt. You might want to close the bolt hard on an empty chamber a few times just to be sure. It will probably shoot well.
I will make sure and have it mounted in my BOGS Deathgrip Shooting Tripod, pointing in a safe direction when I 1st load it and fire it @Ricci.Wright. Thank You, for the Heads Up. I don't plan on treating this Firearm roughly. It's a true Gem.
The "Safety," has been removed on this one as well. (Lot's of competition mods.)
was wondering where you were Ricci, seems you and Sam have been AWOL for a few weeks. Thought maybe you all had decided to make that covert run up to tennessee............

Thank you, Joe.
Yeah, I'm pretty happy. 😁
Considering what the various other XP100's (in various configurations) were going for, I am Very Happy. 👍
Congrats
We all have had that I got to have it with in a little restraint and push go just a couple times more than expected
Divide what ever you spend over the years you will have and enjoy it not so bad
😀 I have handled one in the past, but new fired one...... Hopefully a range report in the near future !
Congratulations, ken.
Congrats. Enjoy your win and enjo the weapon.
Thank you all. I saw it going in the $1300-1500 range. (Worst case scenario.)
I wanted it, and was determined I was taking it. I've wanted an XP100 for a long time now. This one spoke to me.
Very pleased/happy.
Woo Hoo.........................................................!!!
*By Far, Nicest one I have run across.
For the price of ammo you can put it on the couch next to your Kahr and look at it.
We love it when a plan comes together.👍️
One born every minute. Yeah, I been there, Congrats Ken!
I'm fully blaming elubsme for this commitment to win it. I read his post and thought "Dang it. I want it, I'm gonna take it." Within reason. 🙄
Treat yo’self!

Thrilled to have won it and brought it home. 😁
Seriously, Why do you even post to my threads?
Grow up and give it a break already.

Thank's Tsavo, I did. 👍😁
We want a detailed range report when you get a chance!

Dang it, now I'm thinking how nice it would be to have one in .308 and .223.
This could be Bad. Very Bad.
On another forum, a guy I know said he knows someone that claims to have "50 XP100's." Thats some serious $$ right there.
I could see how these could get addictive.
You guys will talk me out of it and down though. (Right?)

Ohhh yeahhhh. Suuurrre.
I KNEW I could count on you Guy's. 👍😁
🙈🙉🙊
My theory is - when the end comes, he who has the most toys wins! So 1 or 2 more couldn't hurt.😁 Bob

You sound thrilled & Im happy for you! Congrats!
Thank you Brother, I am.
More excited about this firearm than any I have bought in a long time.
I have wanted an XP100 for a long, long time. This one is much nicer, than any I thought I would end up with.
Yeah, "I'm Thrilled." 👍😁
I blew out an old hernia patch doing kettlebell swings and had to have a four-hour emergency surgery. It has been a rough month.
Very Sorry to hear that @Ricci.Wright.
was wondering where you were Ricci, seems you and Sam have been AWOL for a few weeks. Thought maybe you all had decided to make that covert run up to tennessee............
glad to hear things are getting better
Glad you are on the mend. Heal fully.
Thank you, Joe. I am feeling a lot better but man, I sure don't heal as quickly as I used to.
