Weird Weather in my neck of the woods today.....

Still under a tornado watch for another hour or so. 40-50 Mph winds all day. Rain, hail, the works. I ventured out in the yard to take a few pics. No lightning but some slight rotation in the area....No actual tornados in our area... This view to the North of our place caught my eye...
Cold air funnel ? it was interesting to watch it form and go up and down.....

Serious wind in Tulsa today, but warm. Met Locust Fork in Memphis yesterday and coming back west ran into very heavy rain in NW Arkansas. Like twilight for 4 hours. Now the power is off at the hotel.
Cloud like that would scare the chit out of me! Lightning here now with seven inches of snow predicted later tonite.
That stinks......
It was a nice, sunny morning. Then it got dark and windy. Heavy rain and dime sized hail, then sunny again. All within an hour.
Yeah, I'm watching the weather chanel. South central and mid west getting / or going to get hit pretty hard. Stay safe you all.
Nasty looking sky William. Poured down rain on our section of the PNW yesterday. Probably 3", but what does one expect when the yearly rainfall is 80+ inches here. Was windy some too.
I've seen some very strange weather around here over the years and show some photo's taken back in August of 2015. So SCARY and BEAUTIFUL at the same time!

This was the tornado that flattened the restaurant my son and I had left less than 15 minutes before it hit ! We had been sitting at the 3rd window from the right . All the weather alarms were going off and we decided to go back to the house we still owned in town at that time....
Always listen to that little voice when it tells you it is time to go...
