He calls this morning from the ranch asks if I've started the pie? I haven't I'm tired and running behind. He tells me not to worry the crust is in the oven and he's starting the filling. Good ol dear old Dad... He wasn't sure he liked the recipe in the Good House Keeping cookbook out there so he Googled the pie crust recipe and then the filling... We did use Redi whip for the top... He even toasted the coconut for the top... So here's Dear old Dad's Homemade Coconut Cream Pie🥰
