Another Failure to contact seller sale

Another sale, two rifles, customer failed to respond to emails, payment reminders and phone call.
IMPO these guys should be bounced from GB and charged a re-stocking fee to the seller.
Last month a guy never responded until I filed a non payment report.

I feel your pain. I probably have 100 people blocked from bidding on my auctions. I just had a guy tell me he was going to "need a few weeks" to pay for a $400.00 gun. Gunbroker is very good about refunding the fees so that is good.
"I don't have the cash right now." Last week.

It happens. Not often, but it does happen.
You may as well get used to it, get your fees and expenses back from Gunbroker, and move on.
The last failure to pay I had was over a $50 item. Go figure.
We do not have that many NPB really....maybe one a month. I think when covid started was the worst time for that sort of thing. If you have two on the same listing I'd look at how things are worded in the auction. There are some idiots out there who play with their phones, don't read things or look at all of the pictures. If it appears to be some kind of bargain, but when you "dig into the details" you see problems its going to cause issues with peopel jumping the gun on an auction that is not what it appears to be at first glance.
There should be an easy way to automate the system to block a bidder after…for example…their second NPB. That might help address some of the instances. The really slimy would likely just open a new account with new user data and continue with their nefarious ways.
*Not complaining, just thinking about potential solutions.
This guy bid on 2 Winchesters-upped his bid on one and he won it. (April6) I contacted him that day and stated. Since you have a bid on another rifle we'll wait to see if you win it. If you do I'll give you a total then and ship both together. He won the second rifle April 8-
I'll block him like I do with the others-
They get instant F feed back as soon as I cancel the orders!
Blocking-If a internet forum can block your address from creating another account -then maybe it can happen on GB as well??

OH yea GB is good about refunds-
Last guy didn't respond to my emails until I filed NPB claim. Then it was like 5 words when he disputed the claim-sent payment item not received. His check NOT a MO arrived the next day- I had to wait 7 days for it to clear. SMH
IMPO I think these guys use GunBroker cause they've been thrown out of all the local gun shops. LOL

Look at their feedback after they bid, but before the auction ends. If they have any recent bad feedback they get blocked.
You might want to check the auction rules, but if I remember correctly, I think a buyer has 14 days to pay. Yes, he should have been in contact by now, but at five days since the second auction you're jumping the gun a little.
And on the other hand you have sellers advertising merchandise they do not have. Twice in the last two months I have used a buy now feature, checked out, using CC making payment. Only to receive an e-mail a couple of days later stating , "we sold that & it was not removed from our inventory". If you are not going to maintain your web listings and use GB for your connivence, I think you should still have to pay listing & fees to GB for an item you do not have in stock.
That's enough.
