Tomorrow I. Will be taken my 4 yr old border collie to be spayed. I'm nervous tell me why I shouldn't be.

She'll be fine. Just keep her from lickin' the incision for a few days and try to keep her calm. Keeping a border collie down and calm long enough to heal up is going to be the hardest part of the whole journey!
Good luck, Flogger's Dog!
We have had a few dogs and more cats "fixed"
All went fine as stated just keep it clean
Maybe a cone the vets give out
We never had to use one just a idea
Your pal will be fine
He? Did you mean the vet?
Get a cone.
Don't spay lol I have 2 studs.
I'm sure she will be fine.... During the years of Pug rescue we spayed many older dogs. They were always fine. Just let her stay at the vet as long as they will let her ❤️❤️
Lad and Bobby send there best 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Here's the pup we are getting in a couple of weeks.❤️ also a male

Good looking pups, Francine is a lilac I wish we had the time and money for her to have a litter.
Vet said Storm was fixed , but a few weeks later she went in to heat.
Waited for that to go it's way. Had to rethink her age, about 3-4 years. Vet thought she was 1-2. We are getting a new VET
Taking her n tomorrow to get spayed. At the new Veterinarian ($75.00 discounted rate for Veteran).
Storm is not going to be happy, for a few days.
Well how'd it go, how's the girl doing? @Tflogger
Any more they tattoo a mark for proof.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
My dog isn’t fixed & I took him to some yuppie dog sitter once when going out of town.
When I picked him up, we got a lecture on how important it is to fix him.
When I asked why, she said to prevent him from getting cancer.
I replied, “maybe we should remove your brain so you don’t get brain cancer”.
Storm went in at 7 am. yesterday and I picked her up at 2pm.
She was lazy most of the afternoon, and I gave her some pain meds as prescribed. She is laying down a bit more,
Today almost back to her old self, barking at the school buses and greeting visitors to the shop with a good bark or two.
Need to restrict her from up and down the stairs to the house (if I can).
Heal quickly Storm
Sounds like she is doing well, they bounce back quick when all is good.
Here is my Girl Storm. Recued during the Christmas Winter Storm last year. Thus the Name Storm.

She is a pretty girl. @hoosier
Storm meet Kimber. We rescued her a year ago.
Great she still wants to run around like crazy. We have to keep an eye on her.
Oh good. Glad it's done and your girl is doing good. @Tflogger
We looked for a dog in all the shelters near us all they had were pit and pit mixes we both grew up with Shepard and collie dogs. So we bought for the first time and are glad we did.
