Can't be all that hard!
My wife took this out our back door this morning. Silly thing was eating out of the bird feeder! It's out in the yard right now just peckin' around.

Purdy, but the wrong sex for hunting! Tell her to call up a gobbler next time! 😁
Too cool,lol.
Seriously too, Ol woodshed with his post and pictures sure made it look/sound easy.
It knows you don't have a gun handy. Turkeys and coyotes have a natural radar that spots guns so they know when to hide.
That is a truly beautiful photo, both bird and background.
She's waiting on her boyfriend.
Hunting is easy its the turkey that is tough!
After living 25 miles west of Indy for 40+ years, I saw my first wild turkey last week. I even had a fox come to eat some cat food on the back deck. I saw one other fox and that was 30 years ago. What's going on with wildlife around here?
There are lots of turkeys around here. But get of the car with a shotgun shell in your pocket and they are gooooone!!!!
a little bread now and then she will tell her friends👩🍳
Neat photo
And visitor thanks for sharing and as stated great looking back ground on the place
When I was working in the evening on the way home about 6 miles from my house I had to cross the river. Next to it their is a small tree Grove and a farmers field I would see a flock of turkeys
Around 15 maybe 20 of them along the tree line or just into the field many times in the fall
i Never we hunted them but a lot of coworkes did
On the same road I hit four of the Six or seven deer I hit on the way to work over the 25 yrs
it is here in the spring also, goblers only, but come fall we have 3 weeks of either sex, guess that covers all the weird turkeys that identify either way........
Illegal is almost always easy, that is why the not bright become criminals.
Didn't know anywhere allowed hens to be harvested. They do taste better😁. Turkeys are in the decline around here, now we can only kill 2 gobblers per year and only one per day!
Tell me about it.
This is great. My dad has turkeys come into his yard everyday. Hunting season started and he couldn't buy a turkey. Hasn't even seen one this week. Mom said he walked out back to hunt this morning, and a whole flock came walking around the house as he left. He never saw them!!!LOL. Mom told him to just sit on the front porch and shoot one when they come into his feeder. I love the way my mom breaks my dad's balls.
Last year while he was out in the game lands hunting, My mom shot a 12 pointer off their upper deck, in the front yard. Poor pop hasn't killed a deer in years, and Mom shoots one while doing dishes. 🤣🤣🤣
Great picture, @bullshot
Sorry OakiePop but thats funny, @Oakie
My dad would feed the turkeys that came thru the yard. There was a Tom that would peck at the back door for more corn. Young dad would have made a Sunday meal from him. Old dad just liked seeing such a good looking bird come by.

We have them all over the place. They've made a great come back. Coyote worst enemy!
This lil' fella was down at the barn tonight when I went to do evening chores. I was able to walk within a dozen feet of him a couple times while I was doin' chores. There were a couple of his hens close that he was tryin' to impress. I took the picture from about 20 yards away.
@Kevin_L You reminded me of when I had a 2' x 2' sheet of polished stainless in the back yard. Toms would fluff up & prance back & forth in front of it. Then peck hard at their own reflection. Funny to watch.
