This model 58 was tuned by Mr. Jim Clark Sr. personally. Mr. Clark was the owner of Clark's Custom Guns down in Louisiana. I have owned a couple of his 1911's and they were very special guns, but this is the first revolver that he worked on that I have handled. It is superb. Glassy smooth D/A and crisp, light S/A. I would like to shoot it before I list it, but I don't have any bullets.

3 1/2' 27 ??
Both of those are sweet guns. Model 58 is a 41 Mag.?
Ole, kinda crazy, now deceased, friend, in the early 80s, touched one of these off in the kitchen. He said it destroyed a big pot of sauce all over the walls. Lost the gun. Sorry Ricci and Mr Clark.
Beautiful revolver. I bet it goes for a pretty penny 🥰🤩🥰💗💗💗💖
P.S I would love to see it right side up😁

Originally intended for sales/ use by law enforcement. Never appealed to LEO. Only 20,000 made.
don't you have any 22lr???? just wrap em in duct tape till they fit tight, should work just fine........
Maybe lube a 44 mag and put it in.
What a gem. Supposed to bridge the gap between 357 mag and 44 mag. Never caught on. They should have made a 41 special round. I had a 57 with 8-3/8” barrel. It was a fantastic shooter.
It's a wildcat, but still fairly popular. I have some loaded up.

Very interesting article.
Thank you.
Send it right over, I have a ton of 41 mags ready to be fired!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I just reloaded about 1,000 rounds this past winter. Heading out Sunday to fire my 657 and my Marlin 1894fg.

First - they are "cartridges" - not "bullets" - Yeah - Yeah - Yeah - I know - pickey - pickey - pickey.
I bet somewhere there is a store near you that has some .41 magnum cartridges - shoot them all up (if your wrist is up to it) - clean it - then list it. (Also there is this place called GunBroker.com that has sellers with .41 magnum cartridges.)

Yes, it has a little bite to it, But man do I enjoy shooting the heck out of it!!!
he has some black majic markers, I'm sure Ricci could write anything you want on the side.......... maybe XP-200 it would be twice as nice....
I like my .44 mag.
Here you go
S&W 25-2 45acp
It was born an N frame but identified as a K frame. I let it have surgery and the good doctor did the transition to K frame.
I have a 4" model 25 that too has been "round butted". I don't like moon clips, so my gun is chambered for .45 Colt.
S&W model 544. The only modern 44-40 that S&W has made, 1987 only.
Real nice pictures folks.
Here's my .44 mag;
That is very nice Joe. I had a 629 Classic a few years back. The story was that S&W picked the most accurate 629's when they were test fired and labeled them Classic.
"Catridges."
I was a reserve with the local P.D. in '75 and wanted one of them really, really bad. My best friend found a model 57 in Pa. and sent it to me. I never regreted his choice. Jake is gone now, but every time I handle the .41 I think of him.
Nice wheel-gun Joe!
Mine is just like it.......except the cylinder is unfluted......a 629 Hunter 6".👍
My Dirty Harry......629-1
Here is my 28-2 converted to 45 colt. Don
Come ON guys!!!! I have a revolver problem and you're just feeding it with all these pictures!!!

More where those came from......... Any requests...😛
Pre Model number .357 Combat Magnum
I have now, pretty much, given up on ever owning a .44 mag, even not Smith, since stumbling on this Sp. Taurus. It is a fantastic gun for Four.
I got a couple of the 29s and they will be the last ones to go.
