1.1 inches since midnight. That's a drop in the bucket for a lot of you but it's a bunch for us! Our entire average for May is 1.1 inches.

around here after a rain like that if you listen real hard, you can hear the grass growing!!! did I ever mention I hate to mow, it ranks right up there with washing dishes........
We are moving into drought conditions again..... 1.1" would be very welcomed around here !
Yep, cold rain here.
That's getting pretty soggy there.
Rained some last night, not sure how much though, maybe .5". Wanted to do some spraying, but held off thinking it was going to rain, but never has today.
We're now up to 1.21" and the creek is about to overflow in a couple places. Luckily, the house sits about 50' above the creek.
With warm temps recently (finally), then rain the snow pack is running off pretty heavy.
Can you shoot the leaves as they flow down from your deck??
With my bad eye and offhand! It's only 150 yards, easy peasy.
Rained pretty good yesterday... Today it was beautiful ❤️ now my friend Dave in Sacramento is getting it

My weather station tells me we got .48" so far this month, with half of that last night. The extreme drought we had the last two years pretty much ruined my lawn but this winter's massive snowfall may help bring some of it back. I do my own fertilizing and weed prevention, but use a lawn service for mowing.
Rained here for the past 7 days. It was finally nice out yesterday, and going up to 77 and sunny today. I was almost getting ready to build an ark!!!!!!!!!! We had one heck of a lightning storm here Friday night. I really love those storms, but this one was a little to close for comfort. I was stuck in the Garage for about an hour. I was sanding some wood out there and couldn't make a run for the house. Thank god I have a TV and radio out there.
Kudos for correctly spelling "lightning". I love T'storms, too - from a ground shelter.
Not sure the amount, but fair amount of rain during the night, but cloud cover just broke to east of me and I can see the mountain got a dusting of snow down to ~5,800’, which isn’t to awfully far below the snow line.

Anyone interested in a home weather station that's better than the cheap box store junk should look no further than the Davis Vantage Vue. No, it is not $29.95, but it is near professional grade and as reliable as the moon phase (which it will tell you, along with meteor showers and eclipses).

Dang! They more than doubled the price of that unit since I bought mine. It's still the best, but...
We are supposed to get rain next week. Last time they said that, the humidity did go up 5% from verga.
