New handgun purchase
I ended up buying a S&W PC EZ slide 9mm. I wanted something new to plink with, and possible use for a CC gun. Most of my handguns are revolvers, as I use them for hunting. The five semi autos I have, I use in the pistol league. When I was in Alabama last year, I shot my buddies 9mm EZ slide. I liked it a lot and my wife also liked it. I know she is going to lay claims to it.😉. I was looking for a 3" S&W 41 mag for my second carry gun, but man they got expensive to buy!!! About 2 years ago, I was the high bidder on a Lew Horton 3" 41 magnum. I could read the serial number on the gun, and called them to see if it was actually a Lew Horton, as the guy claimed. He said it was definitely NOT a Lew Horton, and I was about the fourth guy to call him about it. I got my bid retracted because of the false claim. When I informed the seller, he did not believe me. A day later, I saw the auction gone. Makes me very nervous when buying a specialty firearm. Thank God I had Gunbroker on my side. This is why I love this place. They provide you with a little piece of confidence, should something go wrong. This was the one and only time, I ever had a problem buying or selling on here, and GB had my back. This new gun, I didn't buy from here. I actually bought it from my dad. He bought it for my mom, but she said it was too big for her. Remember, she is 80, and has tiny hands. Right now, she is carrying a Ruger lcp 380, but it is hard for her to pull the slide back. Oakie
PS, and I didn't even get the family discount🤣. Pop just said here is the receipt, pay me that amount. Sheeesh. Last time I deal with him!!!

OakiePop has to stop pawning off used clunkers onto you at New prices.
We bought an EZ a while back with intent wife's folks could use it. The racking of the slide was much easier for them but the overall size of the gun was still too big, especially for CC.
We still have it and it is a good gun, just don't like the size, shape of it for CC.
Those lil LCP's do have a strong pull to rack the slide and they have a sharp recoil, which didn't work for the elders.
Tell OakiePop to get back to posting in here.
I have several times. He doesn't really like the computer thing. He does belong to the Lever gun scoundrels' forum, which he contributes once in a while. At 80 years old, he spends almost every day, roaming the woods around his house. He loves hiking and being in the woods, feeding his deer and bears.
Be glad you didn't purchase that .41 mag. I just last week bought a Henry .41 mag lever rifle, and found that ammo is quite expensive for it. Not going to be a target shooter.
I don't buy ammo, I reload all winter. I have over 1,000 rounds of 41 magnum already to go. I use a Hornady XTH-HP 210 grain bullet, with 10.3 grains of unique powder behind it. I think I have 7, 41 magnums right now. From Marlins 1894fg's to my three Smith and Wesson's 657 with the 8 3/8 barrel. Look at my email address and you will see it is my favorite caliber.
you got in and got ahead when the getting was good, good on you,,,^^^^^^
