Use to go there quite a bit. It has been several years now since I've been there when I get to Missouri now pretty much just hang out at my mom's now and fix as much stuff as I can on her house I'm in Union right now pretending to be a carpenter
Did you bump into Col. Sherman Potter?
Nice pictures. Good way to "Show me".
Handsomest city in north Missouri! What a title. Tough competition
I passed through Hannibal last Monday on my way to a business meeting and again Thursday on the return. Stopped in @ Farm & Home to check ammo prices and see if anything noteworthy was on sale. I'll be back there on business again in a couple of weeks. I guess it's an OK place to visit, I just never had the time.
!
I remember we got to take our daughter to Mansfield, Mo. to the Little house on the Prairie museum, house, and we found the cemetery. Spoiled her in the gift shop, getting the last two porcelain dolls to complete her set, among other things. It was a great time.
yes, I know we are talking about Missouri, but still applies.
You just have to be very careful @montanajoe where you buy your porcelain. I have bad memories about the "Missouri Breaks"
Indeed
Wasn't it kind of the Indians to "Cede" the land to the US? That likely happened when they were removed to Indian territory. Hannibal is a fun place from what I remember. I missed the pork tenderloin. The best I remember came from the MU Student Union cafeteria.
