Cheap Guns

There was just a thread concerning high gun prices and yes that is true in some cases. However, when one can purchase a brand new nicely appointed AR15 for $479.00 or a .45 acp. 1911 pistol for $349.00 it is clear there are some deals to be had. They are available from our friends in South Carolina.
AR's are cheap right now but that too shall pass.

I should have been more specific, the revolvers are made in Miami Florida.
They are made in Ga. Don
Cheap isn't just in the price,,,
Then the lettering on the side of my revolver is not correct. Maybe Taurus has changed the manufacturing location. Ive been wrong before but Im not allowed to disagree.
They moved to Bainbridge Ga. a few years ago. Don
I will buy old instead of new and cheap. I can fix old and worn out more often than cheap.
I guess I should have worded this differently. The PSA is a good rifle and in my experience their customer service has been excellent. I admit that I have never shot the Turkish made Tisas 1911, but I have had a good look at two of them recently and they seem to be well made. The reviews are very good. In my opinion these are good well-built guns at very good prices. I know you can buy new single action revolvers for under two hundred bucks but that does not make them good. Just cheap. There is a big difference.
I bought a couple of Rock Island 1911s (45ACP and a10mm) with the intent that they would both need a little work and break in time.I was incorrect in my assumption because both have functioned flawlessly and been about as accurate as I can shoot.
I have sold a fair number of the RI guns and have never had to return one for repair. A Big Bang for your Buck kind of deal. Hell, I have seen much worse come from Para Ordnance or Taurus 1911's than the RI guns.
I didn't know that either. I look at my expensive Kimber, that was a total piece of junk. Gun blew up in my hands on the fifth shot, out of the box. The parts were all mim. They sent me a new gun and that one wouldn't except the mags with more then 6 rounds. I finally got the third one, after much fighting with Kimber, and this one will only except 7 round, instead of the 8, it is suppose to. I will eventually sell it and buy something else. Kimber is lucky that I didn't sue them, when the pieces hit me in the face, ear and under my eye. The cuts were pretty deep. Thank god the guy standing next to me didn't get hit. Also glad I was wearing my eye protection.
You know, yes. Over time here many have gave reviews of their RI and all have been positive.
computer says Heritage moved out of Florida in 2019. Hell, Im farther behiind than that!
I'll keep shooting the Colt series 70 I paid $250 for. Of course that was in 1986.
I have long thought cheap guns are worth what you pay, or less. There are exceptions, Bursa is one. Woundednee keeps telling me he gets bargains at gunshows.🤣
