They decided to go "WOKE", to celebrate gay pride month, with rainbow chairs. WTF!!!!!!!!!!! Guess they decided to lose half of their customer base and go under too. The backlash is already starting. We all know that everyone is inclusive, but don't push it in everyone's face. I have quite a few friends and family members that are gay, but they don't push it in your face. Even some of them are getting tired of this , Woke period in our lives. Look, I don't care about your lifestyle, religion, race or even if you have a pet goat, If I love ya, I love ya. I don't ever push my preferences or choices in anyone's face, so don't do that to me and make me feel uncomfortable.

Once again...Principle of the Wart
I like CB but I won't be eating at one this month. However, if I happen to be near one, I'm going to go in and ask for the manager. Then I'll tell him/her that the reason I'm not eating there is because of this woke nonsense.
I figure you’ll get the condescending “we’re sorry you feel that way”, backhanded apology. That seems to be the woke first line of defense when confronted by people about the nonsense of giving favor to noisy fringe groups as a marketing strategy.

I ate breakfast at CB last Thursday. Did not see any sign of a change from their usual.
Good food good service as usual. None of staff or waitress are under 50 years old.

I’ll never understand this trend. From a business perspective, it’s just bananas. You’d think a business would want to stay out of the fray and avoid offending ANY portion of their customer base.
Reap what you sow, I reckon. Cracker Barrel hasn’t been worth eating at in a long time anyhow.
I don't like CB, no problem.
"Once again...Principle of the Wart" - OK - since I am a very old geezer and don't get out much - what is this??
Yes - I know what a wart is - had one on my hand - no a frog did no pee on that area - had eletro-caudery to remove it.

The Principle of the Wart (as it applies to being homosexual) is that while it may be a natural occurrence, one does not parade down the street proudly yelling "I have a wart!"
That's OK, their stock is already dropping along with customer base .................................
Well I "woke" up decades ago and decided after a few visits that ain't real good southern food/cooking anyway for us real Southerners, out of region interstate travelers are fooled into believing it is. I'm sure many will think otherwise and that's fine, it just happens to be this life long Southerners opinion. Menu items & the ways of cooking it are 2 totally things.

Well, yeah. But that's true of Mexican food, Italian food, and Chinese food as well. Add BBQ to that list and nine out of 10 people will say whatever kind you grew up with is blasphemy.
Besides, "real" Southern cooking is deep fried everything with cloyingly sweet tea. (that's half a joke)
I enjoy their food. BUT as someone mentioned why in the world would they get into the "fray"? Makes NO business sense at all. Dumb *😝
Wouldn't it be something if EVERYONE practiced this.
"Fray" or "fairy"???? 🤔
Will have to check this out at the closest CB. Might just be true since it is located liberal craphola.
Hardly ever go there as it is out of my loop and always crowded during regular meal time.
Breakfast is about all I ever eat there. Roast beef ain't bad. They can keep everything else.
I've got nothing good to say. Used to like them. Bye...
I am against the move to make LGBTGRSOVNYU a special protected privileged group.
I believe they should have the same freedoms we all have but not extra ones. Individual rights, the same rights etc
However, if CB acknowledges Gay Pride month (It is my understanding CB has put some rainbows on some outside chairs) how is that different than say supporting Oktoberfest or the annual Greek Festival or Puerto Rico day or Kwanzaa or what about Chanukah or even Christmas?
Much of what is being pushed is over the top and I agree back off he-she but I wonder how we will protest the sky when a rainbow appears after a rain shower
I will try and have lunch at one in the near future to see if they are bending over too far so to speak. If they are going all out then yeah, see'ya. but if it is just some recognition like other events I won't join the boycott

Gay pride month? I'll drink to that. But, then, I'll drink to most anything.
I'm afraid I'd have to be pretty toasted to raise my glass to that toast! 😁

What you don't like overpriced bland food?
I also am not a Cracker Barrel Fan.
I went by our local Cracker Barrel yesterday, and didn't see any rainbows. I guess in Texas they know better.
I don't think CB is priced very differently than any other major chain eatery like Black Bear here in the West. Restaurants everywhere are now charging from 12.99 to 15.99 for full entrees, in my experience. That's for breakfast and lunch; dinners are usually two to three bucks higher. (For you Southerners, that'd be for "meat and three".) It's just about standard for two meals and two soft drinks and tax to total $40 - everywhere. Tip extra.
And bland? that's also true of all major chain places. They cater to the lowest common denominator of taste, and it is a lot easier for the customer to add spicy than take it out. Here in Utah, the overwhelming trend is for extremely bland foods. They think ketchup is hot sauce here.
When I was traveling so much for work, I ate at a lot of CB. The food was always good as was the service. Bland?? There was always salt and pepper on the table.
