The Marine Corps has adopted the new Polaris MRZR Alpha as part of its Force Design 2030 modernization program. The four-seat MRZR Alpha can carry a 2,000-pound payload 225 miles across the nastiest terrain you can imagine.

Don't let Ken see this, he will have to upgrade the one he just bought. 😉
Looks good! BUT….. they won’t keep it that way. They’ll slowly add more and more “stuff” to it (armored plates, comms, etc. etc.) until it’s weighed down so much it can hardly move.
So basically it is just a beefed up 4 seater RZR.

WITH GUNS!
I'm not sure why, but I like this vehicle better...
Good.We would always get what the Army wore out and passed down to us.
Polaris? Hope they recruit some good mechanics.
I wonder what the price tag will be. Just a normal civilian version of that will be over 30k!
Seems like a solid choice to me, if they can keep the price tag under 50k. I'm sure they will be 250k once sold to the govt.
But is it electric? All the new toys have to be battery powered (Batteries not included) in the new Green Military.

You mean like in L.A?
I bought a Mid size Polaris 570Sp. and I havent stuck a nickel in it yet, knock on wood. It is much more comfortable than the Suzuki 4 x 4 and about the same HP. Until I have a reason, I wont knock Polaris. At least they are made in Minn.?
maybe just me
but I could be happy with a old pair like this they seemed to do well for the rat patrol LOL
Those jeeps they had must have gotten somewhere around 1000 MPG out there in the sand because I don't remember ever seeing them gas them up. And those five gallon jerry cans were all they had.
