None of the above ................. but if those are the options, then it's the Outback for sure.
C'mon over, I have some fresh 2" thick ribeyes, garlic salt and pepper, 12 minutes per side at 475 on the pellet grill.
I personally prefer Outback.
Of those, Outback is the only one I have eaten at. Therefore I would say just stay home and drink a beer. Don
Longhorn from those choices!
Well all three of those choices are chains and about the same... look at their menu online and decide what sounds the best to you. When I had to travel for work almost every week I probably choose outback more than the others, but that was probably because they were the most abundant in the places I visited.
I can do one in a pan or on the grill in just a few minutes. If I am going out it will be fish.
For a chain I like ribeye at Texas Roadhouse.
@hillbille, I think the answer is clear: you're gonna have to taste test all 3 and report back here.

If you want to go to a real good steakhouse, in my opinion, none of those 3 qualify. While those 3 are decent, they don't serve the best beef. Some of those 3 serve artificially marbled beef of a lower grade. It is possible to find a local establishment that serves choice or prime beef. The higher end chain places such as Ruth's Chris, Flemmings, Mortons, Smith and Wollensky or Sullivan's, actually serve prime beef, both dry aged and wet aged in house. I suppose it depends on your location as to what you will find.
TX, toadhouse, Longhorn, pretty waitresses , meat is good also and the rolls.
I am pretty low rent when it comes to steak houses. I have never had a bad meal at a Logans or Texas Roadhouse. Good steaks and man I love those baked sweet potatoes. I have eaten at two different Out Backs and they were both disappointing to say the least. I am not a big steak eater, much prefer pork, or seafood.
Depends upon where you live. The best answer anywhere will NOT be a national chain.
The best steak restaurant on the east coast is Berns steakhouse in Tampa, there are actually two of them in the same place, one is Berns and the other is called Sideberns. Coats are required.
I have eaten at all three. Depends on the location. Had a FT Worth 14 oz. Ribeye at Roadhouse yesterday and it was ok. Didn't care much for the cactus onion appetizer. Longhorn was the best of the three lately. Logans is pretty good also if you have one. Place like Ruth Chris are very good but they also are very expensive.
Yes, I love the little private dessert rooms on the 2nd floor also ................ nice touch
I've been to all 3 in the Indy area and they are OK. The best steak I've ever had was a Ruth's Chris. The big boss invited me as a reward for a job well done as I couldn't afford that place!
Me!!!!........according to me, myself, and I. 😋
I don't see Sizzler on the list...
ended up at texas roadhouse, made the mistake of not asking about the steak, seems they grill it in garlic butter, I would have prefered it just be grilled plain. It was edible but I wouldn't order it again.......
Shoulda gone to Outback (of those 3 bad choices).

Longhorn is pretty decent here.....I get the ribeye, my brother gets the giant monster steak (I think its a cowboy ribeye).....either way, for the money they do a pretty decent job. I always tell them to go LIGHT on the seasoning. They have this super salty nonsense they like to burry your steak in where its almost inedible (sooo salty.) Get them to substitute your salad for the strawberry/pecan salad...that thing is a meal all on its own and I usually get them to just bring me a to-go box and take it straight home with me. The steak and other side is so filling and the strawberry/pecan salad makes a WONDERFUL lunch the day afterwards.
The BEST steak I've had in a long time was at a place called Flemmings. Its crazy expensive there though. Even if I had money to burn it would be hard to reason out spending that much on food regularly. I do enjoy a rare visit though!
I vote Outback
Too late, he went to Texas Roadhouse. Don
I too like Bern’s in Tampa as well as Capitol Grill in Tampa. For a great steak in Central Florida we go to Vintage on the Fifth in Crystal River.
Seriously though......Jamile's Lebanese Steakhouse in Tulsa, OK serves a very nice ribeye. The overall meal is very tasty.
Those attending the big Tulsa Gun Show should give them a try.
I may not be normal, it i much prefer a Texas Roadhouse steak that you have to chew over Ruth’s Chris or any other high end steak place where the ribeyes can be cut with a fork.

I'm not sure if this is why, for you, but I'm jut not a fan of boiled-in-a-bag steak.

Am I missing something here? What is wrong with a steak that is tender and why the term "boiled in a bag steak"?
The boiled in the bag probably refers to sous vide cooking . Steak in sealed in a plastic bag and cooked in a controlled temp water bath. My son has a setup to do so. Not a fan of it .Just doesn't have quite the lright " mouth feel" and taste
Yes, this.

I guess that I'm just blissfully ignorant with regards to the "Sous Vide" cooking method and that's ok because it sounds just like something I would seriously dislike ............. got to have that char to be a great steak.
Personal preference only. Have just never been a fan of the 'melt in your mouth' steak. Frankly, if someone were to place a $ 25.00 Texas Roadhouse ribeye in front of me and a $ 60.00 Ruth's Chris ribeye beside it, I would choose the Texas Roadhouse offering.

My last (both past and future concepts here) trip to Outback was very disappointing. Loud music and a dry and salty steak did not make for a pleasant experience.

The sous vide method does later char the outside on a grill (typically). Apparently it's not exactly the method Ruth's Chris uses, but it's not too dissimilar. They do a "wet" aging and then high temp broil.

Didn't know that, used to eat at Ruth's Chris in Tampa alot (until the valet lost my car keys for over an hour one night).
Also used to go to the Capital Grill at the International mall in Tampa (which is almost across the street from Ruth's Chris), great food but a younger crowd and parking was a nightmare.
I would eat both.
Might be 80 at Ruth's-
