Bought a box of these at a garage sale over the weekend, and am curious as to what they are. Dimensions, as close as I could get, are as follows.
COAL: 1.158"
Case length: .750"
Bullet diameter: .354"
Neck OD: .377"
Web diameter: .389"
Rim diameter: .392"
Headstamp is MM, and appears to be dated 6 42. MM, appears to be Musgrave Manufacturers and Distributors out of South Africa.

From where I sit, it’s clearly a WW 6.

9mm from 1942. Corrosive.
9mm Luger
Tha 9mm Glisenti (Italian) fits those dimensions, especially the case length.
Added: The 9mm Luger and 9mm Glisenti have similar / same measurements. The Glisenti is loaded to lower pressure. The standard 9mm Luger cartridge is very much more common.
Thanks ricci, I don't have a 9mm to compare it to.
Canadian 9mm came in 64 rd boxes
I just looked, and sure enough, there are 64 rounds per box. Paid 2 bucks for it, so I guess it wont cost me much to toss them..
Was it made in, or for Canada?
64 rounds = 2 sten mags at that time you can find it in 8mm too, made in canada
Canadian 9 mm luger, non-corrosive. I've shot lots of it. good ammo
