Its the middle toe....surrounded by other toes. How do you hurt that toe without hitting the others?
Have the cobblers elves moved into my home and they are mad there is no work here for them?
Now I have to worry about people looking at my toe.....because its purple for cripes sake.
This reminds me of my Granny. I would go visit her and see something like a big bruise and she couldn't tell you what happened or how it got there.

I think it just comes along with the rest of the package mother nature keeps adding to us as we gain more years
I find I get more injuries as I have gotten older like slower response time and coordination seem to be a bigger part of any project and my body is taking a beating over it
" slower response time and coronation seem to be a bigger part of any project " What does "getting a crown placed on your head" have to do with the projects you work on? 🤣
just coverd it up with the original box............
I'm just glad I haven't driven anywhere and thought "why am I here?" Like I do when I walk into rooms here at the house.
Look at it in a positive note. Remember in the story of Tom Sawyer. Tom says to Ben. “If you let me have that apple I’ll show you my sore toe”. Tom got a free lunch out of it.
Your not old until it take you an hour to get dressed up and then another hour to remember why you got dress up.
... oh to be just middle aged again Kasey.
Won't be long before you start having "sleep injuries". Those are the best!

The only good thing I can add to this is that MOST of the time you don't feel any pain when you bruise yourself.
The only thing that hurts is all in your head about "Just how in the heck did I do that!!!"
Doubt if anyone gives a rats patoot what color yours or anyones toes are?
You've become your granny.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Do not take this lightly. See a podiatrist before it becomes worse.

I hope the grandbabies call me Granny.....but I don't think I'll live up to how wonderful my Granny was. She was the BEST!
I have no doubt, Kasey, that you will exceed your expectations.
Took you this long to figure out what toes were for?
You weren't by chance wearing sandals.
I, personally, have reached the age where I don't know if I've sustained an injury or that's just the way I am now.
I remember my mother having this huge goose egg sized bruise on the back of her leg when I was in high school. She was headed to the barn to deal with the horses and I asked her what the heck she had done to her leg. She had NO clue. A few days later she flagged me down as I was backing out of the garage to go to school....I thought something was wrong with the way she was waving her arms around. She came up to the window of the car and said "Christian bit me" I was stunned to hear this....he is one of the horses and I thought she was hurt and I was confused because she was in her PJs and I couldn't figure out how this horse had bit her and I was sure she was flagging me down to take her to the ER when I heard her say this.
No.....she had just then realized how her leg was purple. She had forgotten all about it, but when she was on the ladder going up to the hay loft he had come up and "playing" and took a nibble at her bare leg. He was about 7 or 8 months old. His mom was a firey quarter horse that mom loved to ride. I think her favorite part was riding her with her baby jumping all around.....a good friend of the family took him, so we still got to hear stories about him from time to tim.
mrsdeere was cleaning out the basement yesterday. Smashed her toe into a table leg. This morning the front half of her foot is purple. I suspect something is broken but she won't go to the doctor.
As far as toes and feet go there isn't much they can do....x-ray things, tell you what is going on.....give you a few pills....and tell you to stay off your feet.
