Maybe we could get this girl to pilot some planes and stop some of the cancellations.

All well and good until its your butt in the back of the plane & dad has a medical emergency.
Happy to give her a few years before that.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
...it's all just a video game to the young uns
she's braver than I. Good for her.
Might have to tape some wooden blocks on the rudder peddles for her to reach them. Hopefully her interest in aviation will take root and inspire her to go after a career in flying. To get ahead in aviation it’s sometimes more on who you know rather than what you know, and she must know someone to be able to get in and sit in that simulator.
Cool kid.
Did he intentionally leave you out of the picture???
They must fly thru quite a bit of turbulence.....

Vidio taken down what I had come up
Back around 1994 or so my first plane ride like 12 or 14 hrs one way
The pilot allowed us to come and talk and sit in the cockpit
He told us back then the computers do all the work and explained how the plane knows Where's it at
It was interesting and thanked the piolts for alllowing us to do so
and I am sure no way now they would allow it
Here we s another video. Looks like they took down some videos. Must have been getting some nasty comments.

I was a pilot for an hour. Got to fly an L39 jet. Pilot was smart he did not let me land the plane. This is me after we landed waiting for the pilot to unhook me from the ejection seat.
if anyone can flip please do, thank you.
I took the day off ,,,,,😎
Done ,,,,,,, have a good flight ,,,,,,
Thank you. I did have a good flight. I have a new appreciation for fighter pilots. You can see pilot was wearing his g-suit. We only did about 6 g’s and I really felt it. I can’t imagine do 8 or 9 g’s and remaining conscious.
"Only" 6 g's... I don't think I'd ever be able to stand up straight again after pulling 6 g's!
Double tap!
When I was an instructor pilot, we usually flew twice a day with two of our four assigned students. On what were called "contact" flights, it was aerobatics and landings. Most maneuvers like loops, Cuban eights and such required four to five Gs, and we'd fly 15 or so of them per flight. The landing pattern pulled 2 Gs every pitchout over the runway. All that adds up to a whole damn lot of spine compression.
When I met with my spine doctor the first time this winter, I told him I flew jets. He just nodded and said he sees a lot of pilots with back issues, both old guys and current flyers.
It was morbidly true that if you were an IP back then, you were certain to have hernias, hemorrhoids - or both. Having your guts squeezed down so hard and so often meant they were going to come squirting out some way or other. I got away with only one hernia. And decades later, a ruptured spinal disc.
And one other odd manifestation of flying jets: you fathered daughters, not sons. It seems that male "swimmers" aren't as hardy, and all those Gs and increased radiation at altitude meant that if your wife got preggers, buy pink paint. In four years of this flying, among 60 or so IPs, there were only two sons born out of scads of daughters.
