Some People should just be disposed of !

jarjar Member Posts: 620 ✭✭✭

I have spent the last 4 days helping my son-in-law ( and daughter ) look for their small family dog. she was in the yard playing with to 2 grandkids on friday night around dark. at 9;30 my daughter tried to call her into the house but to no avail.now mind you they live in a very rual community and about a 100 yards off the county road. so we all looked for her everywhere knocking on the few neighbors doors and talking to everyone in the gerneral area, again to no avail. so in talking to different ones a lady said that her and her kids were on a day walk and went for a 3 mile walk around the county rds to the east of their home and saw a dead dog in a creek . my son beat it over there and sure enough it was the lil dog we were so desperately lookin for. this dog was found 4.5 miles from its home and had been shot and tossed in the creek to rot. by the looks of her , she had been there all 4 days ! some SOB must have been feeling real tuff that night. its a small community, I know this has my kids really fired up and trying find out why and who. GOD help them if they figure out who it was !

All I can offer is use some discretion on your approach to this subject. Yes, it may be a despicable deed BUT best get all the facts before igniting your rocket.

Horrible, sad story. I'm sorry for their loss. I actually hope they don't find out who did it, as I know I too would want revenge and it wouldn't be pretty. Hopefully if they do find out who did this it can handled by the law, and the person(s) will be charged and not just a warning. So sad, so wrong.

There's a place in the afterlife for people like that.

I have to keep telling myself and my kids ( they are actually grown ups ) that there is that place in the after life for those kind , and that revenge is not the way, but we feel like we have been attacked and the need to stand strong is great .

I would look at neighbors. Did the dog bark at anyone that evening? Who would the dog have gone with?

Terrible thing to happen to any pet and so sad some one will stoop that low

Hope karma gets involved and repays them in full

Offer a reward on conviction enought their mom would turn them in

Amazing what money will do to get some one turned in

Agree I would let the law handle it

    After a personal discussion

No matter how big and bad you think you are, you just might jerk some sob bigger and badder than you.

That is just awful. As has been said, there's a special place in hell for people that do such things.

A very unfortunate and sad thing to have happen.

Please don’t take this wrong. But at least you were able to find the body and able to put closure as to what happened. About seven years ago we let Cain out in the morning and that was the last we ever seen him. Looked for days but nothing. Still to this day we wonder what ever happened to him.

    Sorry for your loss.

That is the correct response Joe. I don't know if I could refrain from doing some * injury, but your advice is the best. Hopefully, they can find out who and have them prosecuted. Being a small rural area, they will find out sooner or later. Very sad for the family. Some people just suck the life right out of you.

No barking or anything outa the norm , we were all in the house playing cards and messing with the grandchildren . got a lil loud at times. the kids were running around the yard playing and there was this lil dog abd another of their dogs laying around the yard and cuttin up with thekids. after we left the daughter could not find the dog, she was everyones friend a very kind and gentle lil mutt of a dog. I guess thats what makes my blood boil. that lil dog had not one mean bone in her.

A good friend of mine, who was Curator of Herpetology at the Bronx Zoo, told me, "Some people just need killing." I agree, but we live in a society with a system of justice built upon laws and in the best cases impartiality. Revenge may be richly deserved, but revenge is not justice. Found on my property, there would have been summery justice. Otherwise I would give it my all to find them, and get the information to the proper authorities.

If that did not work, after a time, there might be a tragic accident. I'm done.

Jar, Do you know any kids in JHS or HS really well? They hear everything. Offer them a reward.

The authorities need to be involved. You have a sick or deranged person that lives very close.

The law is what counts, if your dog for what ever reason was threatening/ looking threatening or aggressive even in the most innocent manner to other pets while not in your yard then the vermin that shot her probably had legal rights to do so.

Shooting your dog was wrong in a moral sense, it was crewel, probably completely unwarranted and cold hearted. If they knew it was your dog then mega pox on them for the dastardly thing they did and not having the guts to tell you to your face. But, if not in your yard, under your control then in the eyes of the law they could destroy it in most states.

I am saddened by the loss of your friend and companion. It is truly heartbreaking to learn of its demise.

Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

A quiet $100 bill to a high schooler who provides accurate info will "get'r done" as they say. Because it was 99% chance another teenager who did it.

What you do with that info is up to you.

    I may be a bit crazy - but I didn't drive myself.
