I usually smoke a Macanudo Rothchild Maduro, or a Fuente 858. What is another good, mild cigar to try???? Yesterday, I tried some mixed wrapper cigar, and it was bad. Someone gave it to me. Not sure who made it, but it looked like a barber pole, with two different color wraps. Trying to find a nice mild box of cigars, for my brother in laws 60th birthday.

As a general rule, a lighter colored cigar will have a milder flavor.
A dark colored tobacco will be more full/bold.
That Maduro you like is a quality, full bodied cigar, you may enjoy a “Connecticut” which will be lighter.
One of my favorites, is the Arthur Fuente “Work of Art”.
The Oliva Series V is another great all around cigar at a reasonable price (about $10).
If you (OK any of y’all) want to Shoot me a message, I’d like to gift a 3d printed cigar ashtray.
Drop a few Back Wood's smokes in there !! 👍️🙃
I am taking notes here...looking for some different options myself ..
A ten dollar cigar? I am glad my vices all include loose wimmen.

There is a ma & pa cigar store in Charleston, S.C. that sold "Clint Eastwoods" 7 years ago for around $4. Good quality store hand wrapped cigar. Now they're up to $8😜
I use to love the Hava-tampa's with the wooden tip, seem to remember they were almost as mild as cigarettes..........
I use to have a guy in St. Augustine Florida, that had hand made cigars. They were the best. Just cheap cigars, but really good. I use to order 100 at a time. He died a couple years ago. 😥
In 1996, I took a 17 day trip around China. Most of the hotels we stayed in had nice bars with humidors filled with any type of Cuban cigar available. They were 1-2 bucks apiece. My buddy and I smoked at least two a day the whole time we were there.
When we flew through Hong Kong on the way back, the Duty Free store there had a wall about 50 feet long filled with boxes of Cuban cigars. I fought the urge to try to bring back a box. I found out after we landed at LAX my buddy had managed to get two boxes through....
We had different flights home so I made him give me 5 before I left !!!!
My dad was a big fan of Swisher Sweets.
don’t be like dad.

My grandfather smoked Roi Tan, back in the days when they were actual leaves.
Not a smoker. But a year ago when we were going through an elderly uncle's stuff (he was born in '27) we found an unopened box of Prince Edward cigars with the year 1955 written on it. I looked online to see if they might be valuable, found out they weren't, so gave them to my son who smokes a cigar maybe once a week. He said they were very dry so he moistened one up and tried it. He gave me the box and 49 cigars back.
The trick is to take the bands off, before traveling back to the US. They can't prove they are Cuban, so they have to let them in😉. I use to bring them back from the Bahamas, all the time.
I went to China with a friend who was adopting a baby. His wife had an inner ear condition where she can not fly. He asked me to go along as I had children and knew the basics to take care of his new daughter.
I did not try to bring back any Cubans as I did not want to do anything to complicate getting his daughter through the final stages when we returned to the States. The final customs check was interesting.... I got waived through after answering a couple questions. They started going through my buddy's bags and finally let him go through.
He hid the cigars in the bottom of the diaper bag, covered it with all the baby items and left a fairly ripe diaper at the top of the bag. The customs officer unzipped the diaper bag, caught a whiff and zipped it back up !!!! 🤔
In my lifetime I've had two boxes of cigars........
One said "It's a Girl!"........and four years later, one that said "Its a Boy!".
Yep.....I don’t smoke. 😎
LOL! Those things are nasty!
Cuban Cohiba. Not the fake ones sold in the US.
