We are surrounded by corn fields so the humidity is exceptional too....
We have been putting out water around our place for the critters that need it. Last night I went out on the porch to check for our cat Martha. There was a Mama racoon and two puffballs drinking away from a bird bath. They were really going to town and did not even notice me. There have been deer tracks near another one in the back yard. Some of the usual drinking places around here are dried up so it is good to see them coming around...
Just saying.... Look out for the critters during these hot days ! 😀

Remember how cold it was up there in January?
And today 104. The Climate has Changed. This is undeniable proof.
I've said it many times and I'll say it again, I do not miss the humidity of the mid west (Missouri)
Stay cool, stay hydrated
1 part tequila 1 part triple sec. 1 part lime juice over ice with a salted rim margarita glass, and one shade tree.
Ahhh....at least 20 degrees cooler already.....

We had to work at it but finally clawed our way up to 82 today. Sure beats the heck out of the 97-98 degree days we had this time last week!
95 degrees in shade on deck in Monroe, NY. Probably breaking 100 out in yard in sun. ---------------Ray
