I don't have any tats for at least the reason you don't put a bumper sticker on a Ferrari.
Some will die in hot pursuit
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
The Good Lord gave me enough moles to represent all the constellations of the universe. My dermatologist told me that he feels more like an astronomer every time I have an appointment!
I suppose a talented tattoo artist could just connect some dots and create a real masterpiece, but I'll just remain content with what God gave me.
None for me, don't care what others do, ladies getting a small one inconspicuous is fine . The thing I do not understand is the folks that look like they fell into a sharp object bin at the hardware store. God gave me the number of holes I need and adding more is not necessary.
God gave me all the holes i needed at birth. NO ONE is sticking needles in me for recreational purposes. I tolerate medical needs. Funny thing is, I used to make my living as a medication technician giving shots etc.
Not currently, but with my GB salary I aim to get one.

True story for you old timers on hand crafted tattoos. When i was about 25 I contacted acute bacterial endocarditis. They treated me but it kept coming back because doctors really did not know what was going on. It got so bad that my temperature shot up to 105degrees and i started to have convulsions. My BIL carried me to car and then to ER at hospital. They finally figured it out after my GP hollered and screamed at lab tech "Get on the stick or my patient is going to die". They packed me in ice and I was on IV six weeks in hospital.
When my GP Dr Carol a Scotsman listened to my heart he took his pen from his jacket and put a dot with a circle around it on my chest.. I said what's that for doc? He replied its so I know where to listen next visit to save me time. That evening my Jewish cardiologist came in and said what's that dot and circle for on your chest? I explained the whole thing to him. He never spoke but removed pen from his jacket and drew the "Star of David" a quarter inch from Dr. Carol's tattoo. I said what's that for? He replied" the next time Dr. Carol listens to your heart, you tell him he is a quarter inch off and I should know because I am your cardiologist. He was so good he hardly ever went home at night and had his own room in the hospital.
For a long time I think I was afraid to wash those tattoos off in case I got sick again. ----------------------------Ray
I have three - a dot on the left side - a dot on the right side and a dot over the location of the prostate gland - used by three laser beams to position me in exactly the same position each time for 45 days of radiation for prostate cancer. Over 18 months now and PSA is good to go. Unfortunately Blue Cross / Blue Shield insurance stinks and doesn't cover the meds needed now for proper emptying of the bladder.
If you have the same misfortune - do NOT even consider the implanting of radioactive 'seeds' in the prostate - didn't work for my father or my 32-nd degree brother that was the owner of Dixie Slugs in Old Town,Florida.
Guess I was fortunate enough, for it to work on me. When I was 38, I got prostate cancer for the first time. The seeds worked pretty good. When it came back , when I was 51, I had to have part of my prostate removed. I had it done at the Penn Cancer center in Philadelphia. The worst experience in my life. Painful and being that it is teaching center. I had students in there when I was undergoing all my test and procedures. They made me get undressed, filled my bladder with a gallon of water, then x-rayed me while I urinated. They asked me if there was anything to make me more comfortable. I told them heck yeah, All of you take off your clothes!!! They got a big laugh out of that.
Steve, sorry you are going through this my friend. I know how much it hurts and makes you sick. It gets better. I will keep you in my daily prayers. If there is anything I can do for you, let me know. I am also available to talk to on the phone, Just pm me for my number. John
I turkey hunted with a guy who said when his wife dies he's going to have her skinned. He said he has her $50,000 in her tattoos. Met her and her "showing" skin had no ink. We got into a conversation and she admitted the "non-showing" skin was full of ink!
My children are Tat free.... When they were high school age, many of their friends were getting their first tattoos and their parents were even paying for them. One of ours was very interested in getting one at that time...
I sat them both down and told them out of respect for their mother and I, there would be no piercings or tattoos while they lived under my roof. This included the time it took them to earn their undergrad degrees as I their mother and I would be paying for their undergrad educations.
They are in their 30's now.. No Tats, no piercing. Both have thanked me for the restrictions when they were young and have no interest in either now..

Brookwood, decades ago, my younger daughter said I had chocolate chips. My dermatologist laughs at this every time.

As bad as tattos are, these lip rings and nose rings are disgusting!
What are these gals thinking?

Still ink free, but to each there own
With all the surgeries I had before I turned 18..........there was NO WAY I was gonna let anyone turn any part of my sorry carcass into a "billboard".

Great portrait of you Allen! I like the gauging, but I am not sure the trans thing is going to play that well here...
