Shells are not seating into chamber correctly.
I've cleaned and re-cleaned bore
Shooting cci
I am thinking return spring or misaligned magazine.
Also appears to have thin sleeve, cartiage drop in with out help, just looks out of place.
What is the best coarse of action to get the sport king spitting shells again?

Does it chamber other brands correctly? Maybe CCI just made a bad batch?

Not sure I am picturing your problem correctly. Is the bullet nose jamming on the edge of the chamber? If so it is probably a magazine problem. The lips are either bent or worn. CCI does make some flat nose bullets like their SGB that also may cause problems. Bob
No sticks about half way in, bump slide to shut.
I've been looking at the spring but haven't been able to get it out as of yet, going to take it with me tomorrow to the FFL shop

Firing pin may have dented the edge of the chamber. Easy fix.

Yes the recoil springs do wear out, especially if they have been fed a steady diet of high velocity ammo. Let us know what you find out. Bob
If the slide is locked open, and the barrel tilted toward the ground, will a round go into the chamber w/o putting it into the magazine?
Firing pin dent is my guess. If so, DO NOT use a file or Dremel on it! I will need to be swaged back to a concentric shape.

High standard pistols are not designed for high speed ammo. Many have cracked from shooting them. Use only standard velocity ammo in the High Standard pistols. Some may shoot high speed ammo for years with no issues then surprise, you got a cracked gun. Use CCI standard Velocity type ammo only.
I suspect a burr from dry firing also, causing hanging up the casing. Also, Agulia, Eley and a couple of other ammo types use beeswax for bullet lube. I have found semi-auto guns, pistols and rifles do not like the wax after shooting a few rounds, jamming, failures to feed and general mayhem has been seen from these types of ammo.
