Is Mick the greatest frontman of all time?? Certainly one of the top 3 or 4 of all time but who can compare to Mick at 79 years of age??

He crossed The Bridges to Babylon, so there is an excellent chance.
👍
honest who would guessed so many entertainers would still be preforming this late in life not to mention still being alive.😁
a couple yrs back one of sons commented about a old band I liked, that was supposed to have a concert. he said most will have a walker and few in wheelchairs. as they make their way to the stage
and can you imagine the list of groupies old Mick shared his time with 😲
Went to an Arlo Guthrie concert some years ago. A friend observed, "i have never seen so many bald guys with pony tails in one place in my life."
Let the good times roll,,,oh wait not his
I've seen the Stones twice, once in Columbus, OH and the second at the 500 track in Indy. The energy Mick has is amazing. My favorite was "Brown Sugar" for quite a while but in recent years I vote for "Give Me Shelter".
Willie is going to be in Indy 9/23 at 90 years old!
I remember reading a magazine article back in the late '60s which told how the Stones would fix their drug addictions. They had all the blood pumped out of their bodies, replaced by a saline solution to cleanse things. Then they would get totally new blood and their addictions were over. Mick related about how it only took 1/4 as much heroin to get high after this treatment. I was sure they would all be dead by 1970. Unreal.
Yep.......Mick has to be one of the great frontmen......especially since he can't sing a lick!!🙄
Could be worse though.........he could have been blessed with an angelic voice similar to that of Joe Cocker.🥴🤯
Just my humble 2 cents.😇
One of the top three of all time. I also like Steven Tyler of Aerosmith. Another great voice. Now if you want the best of the best, The Mills Brothers for me!!!!!!!! Give me some Cab Driver and Glow worm. I love the big band era. Surprisingly, I'm only 59, but was born 30 years too late. Most guys my age, never even heard of them. Oakie
Not a fan.
There are frontmen that were born in the USA, and actually care about this country and the people that support them.
Sully Erna is the real deal, and he actually knows how to play an instrument or three.
Saw them a week ago with Staind at Pine Knob.
Oakie.......
Gotta add "The King" in there........that is Nat King Cole!!👍
Steve Perry with Journey would be my pick for the best voice.
Honestly never heard of him or these groups. You must be a lot younger then most of us.
I would say middle of the pack on age, I'm retiring next year at 62.
I just like newer stuff I guess.
If you don't like hard rock, it's not surprising that you haven't heard of those groups, although Godsmack is on top of the rock world right now. They are celebrating their 25th year with the current tour. There was people a lot older us at that concert.
Staind has been around for a long time too, but not as popular. Their big hit was "It's been awhile". Aaron Lewis isn't much of a showman, very business-like.
Sorry dreher if I hijacked.
Blondie is 78.
