I need some suggestions on buying a corded brad nailer. I need atatch some wood window trim into the 2x framing. I have a Dewalt air brad gun that works well but my my wife would go ballistic if I brought a compressor in the house. I looked at Dewalt 20V models since I have plenty of batteries but they are really expensive. Any thoughts guys?

Why would compressed air from inside the house have a psychosomatic reaction from your wife?
But on the other hand I have used an old propane tank to hold compressed air for small nailing jobs. I own every Senco nail gun ever made.

air tank is cheapest way out. Then new wife.
Why not just get another air hose?
Yep get longer hose, then compressor stays out side or as said a refillable portable tank...
Look on facebook marketplace. You could also wait until the wife went out for the day and just nail the trim up.

I've got one similar to this and it is about the handiest little thing ever. Real quiet and makes plenty of air for doing finish work. I've used mine on jobsites for about the last 8 years and it's held up real good.

Get a Paslode gas powered brad nailer. You can thank me later.

I have a cheap small electric compressor for such things it's has a one or two gallon tank
Its Like a harbor freight type but a lot of company's make or at least label them inexpensive and come in handy for other uses also
I use it and a 6 or 8 foot coiled hose and a Brad nailer when i did the trim the air compressor very light is small easy to move where ever . it does make a buzzing sound but nothing terrible when running and only when it cycles
I also just read your wife would not put up with that
I guess buy a extra long air hose is going to be the least expensive way

Another 50' of hose is WAY cheaper than a different nail gun or compressor. I'm another who questions WHY no compressor in the house but hey, you've got to deal with that yourself.

I don't have a Dewalt brad nailer, but I have the 20V roofing nailer and it is SO NICE to not drag the air hose around! Expensive, yes. But worth it!

Ryobi makes some good choices for the homeowner. I am happy with the brand for light homeowner projects.
if its for a one time use, go to harbor freight or wally world and buy a cheap one..............
I bet if you start hand nailing them in, your wife will tell you to stop hammering and go get the compressor!! Either that, or hand her the hammer and nails. PS, let us know how much the hospital bill was for the concussion!!! LOL.

is their a tool rental place close by ,
or even some big box stores around here at least rent out tools on the cheap
one more idea go secondary market on the auctions sites and save money that way

OK guys. Thanks again for your a Dewalt replies. I lowered my requirements and bought a new Dewalt corded nailer for $45.00. Not exactly what I wanted but I rarely get what I want anymore.
You should have gave the wife the money and sent her to find a board stretcher.
While she was out looking use the air nailer.
But after she got laughed at, at the hardware store, he'd have more to fix than just trim..
At least I'm not alone. You guys are the greatest.
