I have been seeing a few deer out by the old apple tree the last week or so. I bought a few new game cameras this year and decided to set one up in the far corner of the yard that intersects with the hay field.
Sorry for the poor quality, I guess I did not have the settings quite right, but you can make out most of it...the camera was set up just before sunset and I changed out the card at 8 am today.... Several other deer in and out during the night. A couple more yotes came through but were running and too blurry to make out...
Wild Kingdom for sure !!!
The set up...
A young yote.....
A decent buck, barely visible, lower left side...
Racoon..
Does and yearlings

How pretty 😍 I'm sure if we had a game cam the pictures would look something like that... Just add a fox or bobcat.

That is what prompted me to buy the first game camera before we even moved to the farm. Locals had been talking about a mountain lion in the area. Found some tracks on our place and put out game cameras. Never got a picture of one or a bear. But they do move through the area from time to time.
All those pics came from a $39 dollar camera? Which one is it? I gotta get one!

MUDDY Hunter 14 They were on sale at Academy Sports this spring.
Academy now has them for $29. I'm going to cruise on over today and get one.
In NM young cougars can travel 400 miles from their natal dens, to where they can make their own territory. They do get around.
I thought sure Ricci would show up there.
