nice looking car
way out of my price range but enjoy looking at them
such cars are truly just a rich person toy
if I could have a choice ( as in never going to happen ) i would like a true 427 AC cobra
granted I have heard
their way out dated ride like a log wagon loud and obnoxious and slower and less comfortable than today's super cars,
but a true classic and a long time wish list ( dream car ) I would enjoy to have.
I'd rather have a 55 Chevy.
Not my cup of tea. Give me a 1970 Super Bee or Mopar muscle car.
An owner of such a car would have to be well armed at all times these days!
speaking of cars any one watch any of the post on youtube about the real cannon ball runs cross country and the cars and effort that went into them some hi tec and some just common sense to just fit in with the traffic
some amazing things they do
Is it electric? Otherwise in 2035 there won't be gas stations in California. I'll be "Mad Max: Road Warrior" jacking fuel trucks from Nevada, Mexico, Arizona or Oregon and bringing them to California.
The rusty Studebaker is more my style.
Yep!
My only car lust was the '68 Firebird. Never owned one and never will, though. My first car was a '55 Chevy BelAir 6-cyl automatic - hardly a muscle car, but if I could have any of my former rides back again, that'd be the one. Just because.
Currently pondering if I should trade my extra clean low miles 2008 Highlander on a newer 4Runner, mostly for the towing capacity. Not convinced the lower gas mileage and higher insurance would be worth it.

We were blessed with muscle cars in my area when I was younger. Between myself ,my sister ,a couple ofcousins and some close friends we had access to just about everything . 1969 cougar convertible 1969 Firebird convertible , 1967 corvette convertible ,1970 corvette convertible. 1969,1970and 1972 SS Chevelles. Throw in the 69 and 70 ' s Dodge superbees, chargers etc and several talladega ford torino plus a 70 boss 302 stang and we had the bases covered .
I bought one just like this a few days after being discharged in 1969.
Thats what my buddy Richard did . A couple of hours after getting home from a tour in nam , he drove the same car off the Ford dealers lot in town.
Oh yeah.......

I truly like sharp cars even the rat rods have grown on me for just the aprication people just enjoying the cars As a young fellow
I had my share of muscle cars and lots of street racing and some on the local drag strip
I wish I could have them all back some have went crazy on the collector market as some what rare variations
I've been through several phases of stuff in my life. The car phase was back when I was in my mid to late 20's.
When that wore off, I was bit by the antique furniture phase. That lasted a couple of decades until I was smitten by the Kentucky Rifle phase. I was around 40 years old by then and I still can't get the lead and black powder out of my system! Took my whole life to conclude that I have an addictive personality. 😲
Brookwood
I suffer similar
Cars and guns and back into old slot cars for several years among the hobbies i bounced in and out of
being just a working stiff with very little hobby money over the years I would sell off one hobby to buy the other
Over the years i would supplement my hobbies by selling parts and pieces of which ever hobby I was doing at the time
I always wished I could have kept so much of the things that passed thru my hands .but at least I got to enjoy them a short time
Being some what poor killed that idea of keeping it all a long time ago lol
It took me a very long time to learn this, but all we really ever are are just caretakers of the stuff that finds its way into our possession for a short time.
I can relate. Stereo equipment as a teenager and into my 20s, cars in my 20s and 30s, bikes and motorcycles in my 30s and 40s, and guns in my 40s up until now.
Great memories, especially of the cars and motorcycles. Though I must admit some of those memories are also terrifying and shall never be repeated. 😁

I have said that many times about so many things we have and and have had
Bear with me On the story
There is a youtuber I watch" uncle Tony's garage "
He is a big Mopar fan and all old cars for that mater and has done it all from magazine writer to drag racing and mechanic on the top cars garage owner junk yard owner and then some
He has half dozen projects at least on going Now
a lot of Interesting stories and how to and content He is a good guy to watch
i started watching him as he reminds me on looks any way of a old close buddy who passed on 10 yrs ago
he spotlighted a true just amazing hemi car a few weeks back in one of his pod cast
And said what have i thought many times
he said he loved the car his wife even ask him to buy it it is so nice and orginal .
He said he would love to have it but it was just to nice and would have to stay locked away not driven and tinkered with and that's just not him
He went on that's not what his cars are for he said a daily nice driver evan a clone tribute car with out the pressure of such a rare nice car Getting messed with or damaged He is more happy withThan a garage queen
I thought that summed it up for just a working class person And was spot on
