Right on Que/ Hunting story.
A 42 year old woman /neighbor stopped by yesterday to talk to me. She has been hunting for three years now and has never seen a deer in the woods. I have no idea where she was hunting. She asked me if I could show her where to hunt and if I wouldn't mind walking her out there. After work today, I took her for a ride to a few of my spots and explained where and when the deer travel. I also downloaded a hunting app on her phone, that shows the area/ farm/ field/ swamps. The first spot I took her too, I explained how the deer traveled on a fire lane, about 50 yards into the woods, Parallel to the road. As soon as we got to the fire lane, A 6 point and another smaller rack stood up, and ran back into the woods. I couldn't have planned that, if I had tied the deer to a tree. LOL. After hunting this spot for over forty years, I got them patterned down to the half hour. She loves to bow hunt. Good for her. I just lost some interest in hunting the last year or two. Now I want to go get my bow license. I also have to go to another spot I have, now that I gave my golden goose away. I hope she kills a huge buck. Not many women today, would strike out on their own and bow hunt.

Good for you . Always helps us in the long run to mentor/ teach newbies.
Well, good for you BUT hunting for three years and hasn't seen a deer? Seems like more involved than just location.
I met and talked with a 'neighbor' (loosely speaking-this guy bought 80 acres across the creek 5 years ago) about a month ago about Missouri's new deer management program.
He was pretty arrogant and self important in his comments about deer management and hunting. I'd spoken with his Dad in July and his comments indicated the family had hunted several weekends in 2022 and had only seen a few deer and no bucks. Opposite observations of the same piece of ground? I KNOW there are a ton of deer on or moving through that property but these hunters aren't seeing them. Makes me wonder why?
Was she Deer hunting or Dear hunting ? ......😊

She is extremely attractive, But my beautiful bride is the world to me. 😉. She is single, but My wife knows me very well. I don't and won't stray. Her and my wife are slowly becoming friends and walk the dogs together every night.
Well, there goes your hunting spot.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Edited: I decided to erase my comment, you may not appreciate my warped sense of humor. 😊

Not any more warped then mine!!!!!!!!!!😉. Besides, I don't mind being picked on or something said in fun. Sometimes I will say something and my wife will just shake her head. She doesn't get my warped sense of humor either. LOL
No, you sure don't see many women bowhunting. I've only met one.
