Martha, is that you ??
We think we have a picture of Martha on the porch last night. She seems to be running around with two other feral cats we have seen over the last few years. One of the other cats, we have referred to as "The Imposter" is one of them. Martha looks a lot like that cat but it has a big smudge type mark on it's face...
I have been putting out some food and water every night just in case. The only issue with that has been the raccoons and possums running around the porch also.... I put a better game camera out there a couple days ago. Hopefully I can catch a better picture in the next few nights.
I have been thinking about all of this the last two weeks. I do remember all the cats we had around the farm I grew up on and when some cats became mature, they were around less and less. Martha has always been a big time hunter so maybe she has decided the wild life is better.. I wonder when it gets really cold if she will show up.. It has been really nice out the last couple of weeks.
Not 100 percent sure it is her but I think it is.... We shall see.

Looks like her to me, sometimes they just have to go on adventures and she may be around more often when the cold hits.
Sure looks like it could be! Fingers crossed and another prayer said!
Sure hope it is Martha.
Set live traps maybe you can get her
Itdpeslooklike her or a close relative
But
We have thee ferel kittens and a mom to trap
my Wife set the traps and as predicted one of our local some what tame skunks got in one of them
I just released it with little drama it was just happy to be released something I have done many times
but it had sprayed when the door slammed and the area /air was heavy
So I still picked up a bit of odor lol
That is a thought........ We have three big Oak trees and a couple hickory trees in the yard. At night we are over run with raccoons and possums feeding a good chuck of the night. Then they check out the porch too. I figure I would end up with one of them at this time..
Maybe when the acorns are gone, I will give that a try.... Thanks for the suggestion
We've had feral cats in & out of the house for years. They go out and come back sometimes after 3-4 weeks! Have to pick the ticks off of them. Stay in for maybe 3-4 months and go out again! When they are inside are are very cuddly but need that outside exposure I guess🤔
You certainly know her better than any of us. I searched several of the old photos posted for her fans. None gives quite the same angle as the game camera photo, so I can not positively see a pattern match, but looking at the tabby patch on her right front leg, * color and what I can see of her hind leg patterns, I think it certainly looks hopeful.
I fear if she does not come home on her own, she likely would not stay. Lot of folks here wishing the three of you our very best.
I hope that is Martha. One of our feral cats disappeared for three days, Kind of. Seems as we were working in the yard, she wondered into one of the sheds. We closed the door and there she stayed, until I saw her in the window, three days later. I opened the door and she ran right up into my arms like, Dad, don't do that again, I was scared. Now I check the shed door before I close it. Poor baby.
You will know better than anyone if that’s her. However not to be the dark cloud of hope, but, if you were able to pet and pick her up before, and she had been use to eating there, she will come up to you. One other scenario or possibility, she wasn’t pregnant was she before she left? Maybe she went off to have her litter, they’re funny like that.
We had a cat once that had her litter in the back room closet. Wife and I were the only ones allowed in the house for a couple months. If you think a cat can’t run someone out of a room when they don’t want you there, trust me they can.
We had her fixed as soon as she was old enough.... I have not seen her during the day, this pic was the first possible sign of her in almost 2 weeks..
I told you a week ago not to give up hope, and how my kitty Miranda, who I had had for 3 years, just left one day to go live in the woods. Miranda gave up one-ounce shots of cream in her bowl, gave up grilled venison steak, in order to sleep in the cold woods and eat chipmunks.
Cats, go figure.
I told you I was praying for a miracle...
