What Wild Critters Eat Peanuts?

I have some peanuts that I received raw, and tried to salt and roast them. They didn't turn out well.
I hate to just toss them in the trash if anything will eat them.
So what do I do? Trash them or put them out for the critters?
There are no elephants or monkeys around here.

My gradma fed the Blue Jays peanuts and I think squirrels eat them.

squirrels, chipmunks, Jays, groundhogs, mice, rats, packrats to name a few.
I hunt on a few peanut fields I've seen deer, hogs, racoons and a few turkeys out in the field
Just about any critter with a mouth will eat them. Maybe put them away from your place so that you don't attract any un wanted animals.
So did you burn the shell or the whole thing? I ask because you may still boil them and snack on them.
Just wash the salt off first! Squirrels, birds, racoons, opossums, deer, rats/mice, and lots of animals will eat them!
Any wildlife loves peanuts- Bear, deer, turkey, raccoons, possums. squirrels, most birds. Or put them in the oven in shells, 325 degrees, 25 minutes, let cool (they finish cooking in shell.) Forget salt.
The farmers where I was raised welcomed crow hunters when they ‘pulled’ the peanuts and left to dry in the field.
Here’s some peanuts pulled and drying before being separated from the roots ,,,,,
Dump them in a suitable, legal place away from any dwellings. The critters will find them. They're biodegradable anyway.
My mother would buy a large bag of peanuts to feed her favorite squirrel that lived in her tree behind the house.

Yep. Most birds (ravens and crows and starlings especially) and even dogs will also eat them. All rodents love them.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche

Squirrels absolutely love them. Put them out and they will be gone in a day.
We had a neighbor who used to put peanuts out on his driveway. The magpies would gather a few minutes before his predictable appearance and would carry off every single peanut within minutes. The magpies would stash the nuts anywhere they could before racing back for another one. We had peanuts crammed under shingles, in gutters, and in the most unlikely places. Smart birds, dumb human.
All the Corvids such as Magpies, Blue Jays, and other jays.
As above, about ANY creature will eat them. It's a favorite of the possum and if you ever had possum shank fed out with peanuts buddy you are missing some good meat!
