I bought a Taurus 9mm revolver actually here on GB and the gun broke about a week after I got it. Now this is my second time to try a Taurus and I sold the first auto because the trigger was rough. Now I thought I had a paperweight, but Taurus ( thru the website ) had me send it Back ( to repair facility in US * Ga )
I got it back this week in good order and must say Taurus has a good warranty
I only had to pay for shipping to the Repair
Its going to be a truck gun , I will carry my colts

I gave up on Taurus after sending a few back for warranty service and none were completely fixed.
Because of past problems that both I and my customers had, I won't own anything from the Taurus/Rossi/Braztech group of companies. I think of them as the Yugo of firearms companies. Bob
I guess it just depends on which Taurus you're familiar with.
I have a revolver and a semi-auto from Taurus. The semi-auto (G3C) has never failed to feed, fire, or eject. The revolver is the 856 from their executive series (got me a great deal on it!). Very light trigger response once you hit the wall and it's accuracy is right on the money.

Have one of the earlier 1911s in stainless steel . Never a problem after 15 or so years
I have two .357 magnum revolvers and never had an issue with either one of them, both shoot as well as my Colts and Smiths and the fit and finish (one SS & one deep blue) are as nice as any. Also had a 92, no problems with it either, it was just big.
I always tell my customers the good news is they have a great warranty, the bad news is you'll probably have to use it.
And then upsell them to a Colt or Wilson Combat, right? 😂

Meh, I usually give my recommendation and let people buy what they want. I sell ALOT more Taurus than Colts.
That's another name for bidenomics shootuadeal. Many folks can't afford a Colt anymore.
Same can be said about any auto maker, that's what warranties are for, to make customers happy and whole, I have no problem with using a vehicle or any other warranty if needed.

My Glock 17 with a bunch of add ons on my hip may or may not be my first handgun choice but it would be right up there!!.
