The Three beam deer....

Big yote
First time I have seen this one.... Poor little fellow
Lots of pics of this one...He bedded down right in front of the camera and was there for over an hour...
Your coyotes are big and healthy. Nice deer herd.
I shot a 4 pointer like that one deer. His antlers actually crossed, and his brother had antlers that were exactly like this one. I wonder if that is from an accident/fighting, or crossbred??? I know the ones in my area that I killed, were crossbred bucks. The state said they had a few from that exact area like that. We have such a high Buck to doe ratio, that crossbreeding does happen . Great pics, thanks for sharing. Couple of strange antlered bucks you have there.
the antler going kattywompus most likely got bent when it was just growing out. since they have no way to straighten out the kinks, it continues to grow in that shape, eventually hardening up after the velvet is completely shed. cool pic!
Looks like some of the pics of deer living close to the nuclear reactor power plant in northern IL where wife's
Cousin lives.😘
I used to hunt between Byron and Leaf River when I lived in Northern Illinois.. Is that the Nuke plant you mentioned ??
Yes, that's the one. I often kidded the guys that it's not fair to hunt deer that glow in the dark.
They countered that it's offset by the third eye and two noses.
Hoping to see some of these in the daytime. Wouldn't shoot the smaller ones but it's nice to see bucks around. We have had some devastating kill offs from EHD & Bluetongue over the last several years.
Frank, Have you seen that crazy looking buck with the messed up antlers again!!!! We had one with a messed up nose and overbite. My cousin finally harvested him last year. We called him the Jimmy Durante buck. That poor deer not only had a messed up nose and antlers, he was also born with only three legs!!!
I have a pic of the three antlered buck from 2 years ago when he was likely a year and half old....did not see him last year so I was surprised when he showed up this year..
@Okie Just how close are you to the old Oyster Creek Nuclear site?
I think it is just the deer moving while photo is taken.....
Exactly one hour away from me, and about 15 minutes from my office. we have a lot of inbreeding issues here, according to DF&W. Our zone, zone 23, is where the ratio of bucks to does is way off. We have more bucks than does. We are also known for having larger bucks, than most of the state, because of the amount of woods, that our zone covers.
