What are you up to today ?
We received an inch and a half of snow yesterday....it rained 3 times during the week, not a lot but at least an inch total. As dry as it has been, everything including our road is a soggy mess. I had great plans of hunting today but that went away as there was a leak in the basement so I spent a good chunk of last night and today working that problem out.
So plan B for the day was running speaker wire into my Bride's craft area and setting us a set of mini speakers so she can enjoy tunes while working on whatever project she is into.. It is all tied into a 2nd stereo set up in the back part of the basement and actually sounds pretty good....
After that while enjoying some great 70's tunes, I sorted things on my workbench and cleared out some stuff that I never use and is usually in the way of me doing something else..
So a good day playing some catch up and getting some minor projects off my list...
Hopefully things will dry out a might and I can enjoy the last couple of days of Primitive season without burying myself in the mud !!
So how was your Saturday ??

I was out in the woods today. No deer came by, but a good view nonetheless.
Beautiful view !!! Just being out in the woods if a good thing, even if nothing comes by...
But I hope you have some luck out there in the future !!

I didn't know they still piled it that deep!
It's gotten wider Tru the years too
There was a line from the NYPD Blues show many years ago....
They were talking about getting older etc... and the Cop said.... Everything just gets wider, hairier and closer to the ground !!!!🙃
Fighting the mud in north MO also. Semi-frozen this morning so all those things best done before the sun thawed the mud made a long morning. Afternoon was spent cutting/trimming cedars along a fence row. Son went to watch for deer in the evening while I did chores. That pretty much covered it.
Lazy, stay at home kinda day.
Great picture @Frogdog , it just wants to pull me in.
Chasing three calves that have no respect for fences and seem to enjoy getting zapped by the hot wire. Top layer of the ground thawed so it was slick. Came real close to having veal for dinner..
I'm up to the usual 5 foot 3 lol
My Saturday was probably a bit boring.

Pretty boring day, made a trip to Walley world, rode the perimeter fence line in the JD Cab spooked a few does, did my 12 oz curls and grilled burgers for dinner....
I took a nap, then woke up for dinner, then took another nap.

It's now Sunday. (Have you realized that today's date is 123123?)
I'm trying to decide if it is more acceptable to spend all day today in pajamas and robe - or tomorrow. The third option is also available.
Well, Congress said I am an officer and a gentleman, so I have to have some standards.
We have our 2nd 15 yard dumpster. Cleaning out to try and downsize.
Good for you... Come to us next

Helped the son put a lift kit on his Toyota, cut down a big, scary water oak that was leaning over the greenhouse.Got most of the water oak cut up until I ran out of old guy steam.
Recuperating from yesterday. Built a new storage unit for my DeWalt tools and then sat in my blind for the last time this year. My 450 bushmaster barked one more time and is now tucked away until next fall.
Relaxing with the wife and grandkids now.
Nice....Looks like some good eating coming your way !!!!!
