Not to steal the bird feeder post but should I be worried ? There were six vultures perched on the deck and fence posts in the back yard Monday . Could not get them all in one shot .

If a bird taps at your window or a hoot owl hoots outside it you're in real trouble, or so the Ozark mountain folks usta say.
Way back when I was married, my ex called me to come look out the kitchen window, said there were 2 eagles by the road,
Well it was her birthday so she was all happy , Something didn't look right so I got binoculars for a better look, it was 2 turkey vultures. Spoiled her whole day
I worked with a farmer many years ago
His story staded with me As a young fellow he said the vultures would sun them self on the fence post out by the pasture
So he got a great idea and set a leg trap on each post
Next day, sure enough line of leg held vultures trapped to the post
His dad being a wiser and upset dad
Said OK you caught them you have to release them now
Vultures have a defense they with throw up on what ever so the smell will drive it away
Sure enough my coworker following dad's order
He said evey one heaved up.on him he was covered in bird puke he said it was the most disgusting smell ever
But he neve set another trap for them
In my teens, I was sitting in the woods hunting squirrels when I saw what I thought was a Turkey land on a low branch about 25 yards away, I took the shot and down it went, I rushed over to find a wounded Vulture backed up against an oak tree. When I got about 12-15 feet away from him, he projectile vomited on me ....... let me tell you, nothing on earth stinks like buzzard puke, I'd rather be "skunked ".
That was an extremely valuable example of "always identify your target before pulling the trigger".
Sounds like grounds for a divorce to me! 😁
