Poor Martha.........trip to the Vet

The Weather has been wild for a couple weeks so poor old Martha has spent a lot of time in her garage shelter and a few times during the day, she comes downstairs in my workshop area. We play 'Catfish'
She will hid behind a box or around a corner and I have some strings tied on to a fishing line. I pitch the 'bait' near her and wiggle it or pull it back. She loves it and I can practice my short casts.....
Last night we were playing and something popped on her rear haunch. Pus and blood all over the place. So I cleaned her up as well as I could and put her in her shelter for the night. We got her to the Vet when it opened this morning. It was an abscess and they kept her part of the day. They clean it out and gave her an antibiotic... She should be fine.. By this evening she was her old self playing in the basement....

She has such a great human.
Probably a big relief to her when it popped. Glad you caught it and got her checked. Yep should be just fine now with antibiotics, good job. Any guess what caused it?? Heal up Martha.

I am guessing she tangled with another cat and got bit....
Glad Martha is ok... Now I get to worry about other people's pets lol
