The left is celebrating the fact that no insurance companies have guaranteed a bond for Trump in the NY civil fraud case. The mantra is that if a billionaire cannot come up with half a million dollars, AG James and the judge must be correct.
Let's set aside the obvious fact that liquid assets of $ 500 million would be a fairly silly business model in the current era, and focus on why insurance companies would not step up.
- They have seen how Letitia James will abuse her power to target an individual. Working with that individual by a company with a presence in NY would make them a target, and any profit made on the bond for Trump would be quickly erased by vindictive prosecution using the same spurious methods used to target Trump.
- Many Insurance Companies are headquartered in Delaware because of the State's tax and protection policies. We must assume that the current administration continues to have influence in the state for which the President served as Senator for years, opening up any company headquarter therein to similar vindictive retribution by supportive local officials or the Justice Department itself.
I do not want Trump to be our next President, but if the choice is him or the current stooge, Trump is the obvious choice for the continued existence of our country as we know it. The mis-use and abuse of the Federal and Local justice systems by the left is all the evidence one needs to understand that freedom is under attack domestically, and not by a bunch of right wing loons, rather by a tyrannical left seeking to destroy the fundamental nature of our roots in freedom and individual liberty.
If they succeed in the destruction of an individual by cherry-picking courts and judges coupled with the chilling effect such efforts will have on all future challengers, we are lost. Once this is lost, the remedy is unthinkable but necessary.

Anyone helping Trump in any way automatically gets added onto the Biden, FBI, IRS, ATFA, DOJ, etc. enemies list.
Agree MR P, however what is happening today is exactly backwards: MAGA republicans, constitutional conservatives, God fearing people, and anyone other than Marxist democrats are the bad guys .

There are a lot of good choices but none want to subject themselves to the vileness of the left.
