We went to range today. Shot well. No issues. Had fun.

Joe, tell us something we don’t know!
I'm still waiting for the weather to cooperate for a more comfortable shooting experience around here.
Glad you had a good time Joe!
I had rotator cuff surgery on 2/23. I'll see my surgeon on the 18th. I hope I get cleared for shotgun at least.
El día de la pistolas for me this weekend. Probably on Sunday.

This last week I’ve been testing out some 9mm loads I made up. I stay pretty much with in normal velocity. That and the 41 magnum. Made some loads up using Win. 296 powder. Seems to do as well as Blue Dot powder, actually they seemed to group a little better.
I’m fortunate in that I have my own range around back that I had built over 25 years ago. Had a bulldozer come out and build up a berm and level out the ground.
Glad to see you had a good time, don't suppose I could ask for more detail on how it went? Don't have to if you don't want to, of course. Goes without saying.
I'm planning on taking a co-worker to shoot for the first time this sunday; I'm real excited to see how he reacts to it. Already got him some protective eyewear and microphone ear protectors (that were on sale) to motivate him to participate. The armories/ranges that let non-arms license holders like him shoot in PR are few and far in between but I'm confident he'll like the selection that my chosen locale has.
I'm jealous. If I had the space, I'd build my own range, too.
And I'm shooting reloads this weekend, as well. Nothing hot, just a normal load to get the lead downrange. I was using HP-38 for the 9mm and the 38 but recently switched to Titegroup. I like it.

Just returned from 4 hours at the pistol range today. Brought 5 pistols for 5 times more fun.
I've been waiting for the ground to dry…. It gets marshy down there.

Hoping for a, as good as new, report. Heal daily my friend.
Just got back from the range. 3 revolvers, 2 semi-autos, and an AR15. And the folks next to me shoveled all their brass my way. Life is good. Time for a beer. 😀

Mine has been in place 43 years. I built it the summer after we moved here. Backstop has been rebuilt 3-4 times and the bench top replaced once. It survived the 11/2/22 fire because all the grass around it had been beat down from constant use.
Update: it could've gone better. Co-worker rented an AR-15 that ended up not ejecting brass properly, getting jammed on every other shot. The range staff did their best to make up for it but he admitted that the experience left him unsatisfied, albeit it does seem to have ignited an interest within him and he did enjoy the first shot at least. Feeling bad about it not just because he had a poor time, but because I was the one that recommended he pick that .223 rifle for his first experience.
My own range time today had room for improvement as well. Tried using the detachable 20-round magazine for my SKS for the first time today and had consistent issues with feeding and positioning it. I'm well aware the SKS was only meant for the parts it comes with but it's still disappointing to see. Going back to the 10-rounder it came with for good. Also learned that the scope I got for my 9mm PCC, in combination with the stock I bought for it, has really poor eye relief and viewing angles. Also learned that this new stock is too straight, and prevents me from using default irons when the scope is removed at the moment.
Was it enough to make me regret going out today? Well, to be honest, yeah. A bit.
Like s bad day fishing is still a Good day over all
Same with getting out to shoot
Life is too short not to enjoy at least the effort
