How to kill a laptop

Step 1) pour yourself a beer
Step 2) knock over beer, spilling half of it on keyboard of laptop
Computer dies painlessly.
I have a backup computer. I did not have a backup beer. That was the worst part.

I suspect you don't want to hear it, but you @Kevin_L have a problem with alcohol.
Yeah, he keeps wasting it!😁Bob
So, you're laptop now doubles as a beer stein?
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
I bought a lightweight laptop but I figured it could handle more than half a beer!

I thought for sure you were going to say that Microsoft tried to "upgrade" it to Winblows 11 and that killed your machine.
Spilling beer on it would be only a little less lethal.
That's an expensive brew.
It wasn’t a Bud lite was it? Thats been known to kill things.
that would just make the LGBT letters stick in capitals………….
Sounds to me like it's his laptop that has the problem!
Condolences on the beer ……………………………………………………….
Laptop itself is most likely dead and gone, but the hard drive should still be salvageable if you had anything on it you wanted to keep. Don't take it to Best Buy if you can avoid it, though. That Geek Squad of theirs… I can't recommend it. See if there's a local computer place that offers repair services that can pop the hard drive out and hook it up to a PC to save whatever you needed saved.
Of course, all of this is assuming you have anything you want salvaged from it in the first place.
Dang, that stinks. Sorry Kevin
