Amish? They were not living there when I did. Mostly 30 miles north of town.
Lots of Amish all around me. On specific Sundays 10 to 12 buggies full of families go rolling by our place on their way to church meeting. They often fish in the lakes where I fish. We have had two Amish carpenter groups work around our place. They buy hay from me when I have extra to sell.
I know a lot of them pretty well. Hard workers and interesting to get to know…
