My bride and I celebrated our 43rd wedding anniversary this week. We took a little trip to Branson, MO were we honeymooned all those years ago. We tried to see some of the same sights we shared way back then… Our Honeymoon A-Frame located on the White River is now gone but we were able to figure out where it was. We spend a day walking around Silver Dollar City and walked though Marvel Cave… I forgot about all the stairs but we did just fine (Those three days a week at the gym paid off)…. We went to the Sight and Sound theater and saw the Story of Esther… Excellent story and the production was unbelievable…
We ate too much and just had a great time sharing old memories and making new ones… I am a blessed man….
This picture was taken at the bottom of the main Entrance to the cave. The room is taller than the Statue of Liberty from the floor to the opening in the top. I have always been fascinated by caves.
It was also a great break in the day after walking around in 88 degree weather to a nice 54 degrees..

Congratulations! After 45 years of marriage I learned that the first 44 are the hardest.

Happy Anniversary. We will be doing 44 on July 5th. Trying to think of something for the 45th next year. We don’t want to wait for 50 and have health issues and not be able to celebrate with a trip.
We have been talking about Alaska or maybe Ireland in the next few years….. like you all, we have been thinking do these things now while we are healthy enough to enjoy it…..
