There were 7 buzzards hanging around our place yesterday… I believe the main entre was an unfortunate armadillo who had been digging in the yard a day or so earlier…He died of a lead overdose….
I was just happy they were not here for me ! 🙃
Nature's clean up crew

"He died of a lead overdose"

Take a shower just to be on the safe side.
40gr. CCI Mini-Mag…
Turkey vultures, not buzzards. Red-tail hawks are buzzards.
Maybe they identify as buzzards?
Eating road kill isn't very appealing, but maybe that's the trade-off to be able to soar like those birds do. They fly in big groups, especially over the quarries near here. Twenty or more of them sometimes, just circling, soaring.
I heard they won't eat a dead cat.
Jim, Chinese buzzards & vultures will.
Maybe the ones around here are not as particular…. I have seen them snacking a roadkill feral cat
I hope you removed the lead pill so the buzzards don't get lead poisoning. Otherwise you'll get the California epa coming down on you "people" and make you use 100% copper pills for hunting.
Through and through shot…..but I guess that means there is a slug out there somewhere !!!
