SCOTUS and Presidential immunity

I am having a hard time understanding the apoplectic reaction of the left regarding the SCOTUS decision on Presidential immunity.

Sotoamayor citing ridiculous examples of actions that would be immune in direct contradiction to the ruling that clearly states that a President is only immune for official acts as part of his job description as President.

This decision is, IMO, nothing more that the codification that a President enjoys the same qualified immunity as do most Law Enforcement agencies and lesser government officials throughout the country.

I would be very interested in hearing a dissenting opinion.

Well, one that has a basis in reality unlike that of associate justice Sonia.

Freedom and a submissive populace cannot co-exist.
