DANG PEOPLE.....won't leave my buckets alone!
I don't know how many of those black tubs with the yellow lids I have purchased, but they are becoming a real problem to keep track of around here.
I have bought the HUGE ones without thinking about how heavy they are when full….so those things became Christmas decor storage. The little ones were "too little" to be helpful…..but that size just a bit larger than the little ones is perfect. Its apparently TOO PERFECT because it seems everyone just grabs them up and takes them.
My husband has filled a bunch of my tubs with his crap, my kids have loaded up stuff they wanted to take home with them while they were here. I'm guessing I've bought close to 100 tubs and I can't put my hands on ANY of them right now.
SOOOO FRUSTRATING…..so, on my one day off this week I will be taking my silly butt to Home Depot and buying more black tubs. I'm getting some spray paint and putting my name on them with pink flowers and such so whoever grabs these can feel bad every time they look at it when they steal it.

I believe they keep disappearing because you allow it. Don
two words: glitter bomb. You'll never lose another bin.

So, are you making a bucket list….
Putting your name I will guess
When they look at it, won't be in shame but it will be
well thank you again Kasey
I'm the guy that would wait till they were near the tub. Then walk in and say oh there's my tub, dump the contents on the ground and walk out with the tub.
If they had asked for it, I probably would've gave it to them. But that I'll just help myself, and take it attitude sends me over the edge. Both family and friends know this.
While you're there, buy a label maker.
Line 1 - KASEY
Line 2,3,4+ what's in there
I picked these up yesterday…..they are FULL of mags. I swear, I thought I was going to pass out once I was done unloading these from my enclosed trailer. They were in large garbage bags…..which is why I needed tubs. I thought I bought enough to have plenty left over….but NO. These are 14 gallon tubs, pretty large, but not very deep. So, I can actually pick them up.
Holy cow………are those mags for consignment guns or just your own stash of mags? That's impressive.
How many are still there? Have you checked?

That is all from a store we are helping to liquidate…I've warned him the guns are always a priority here. So, I'm going to let some resellers make offers on his lot of mags.
I can see the auction title now… "Mags by the Tub" or "Tub o' Mags"
Yes……..definite quantity.
Tub o' mags. Make an offer! Three for the price of three! While supplies last!

…I'd like to try them all before I make a commitment
And after you commit, be sure to let her know you don't actually want to commit or pay. She loves that. 😂
( just having some fun Kasey! )

I'm just tucking a bucket in my car every time I hit the road to any of my local guys stores……called some of the guys that do the gun shows…..coaxed Larry to take a bucket to work with him to show his co-workers. I'll still have this pile for months and months, if not longer.
My CAT keeps me well supplied with these.
Actually, a bit too supplied. I must have at least 40 or 50 of these buckets packed away up in my garage upper room. They are well made and heavy duty, so I just cannot throw them away. I have found many uses for them but sheesh!! 😵
Just a hint for FREE tough tubs for storage of STUFF of all kinds
What I use for storing lots of things outside and they are stackable and tough is molasses tubs.
I get them for free from cattle ranchers.
If they still have any molasses type film inside just add some water and let it soak awhile then wash out with a broom. They clean easily and are Water Proof with the lid installed, sunlight resistant, do not get brittle when cold. They are made to hold about 300 lbs of molasses cattle feed and tough as a woodpeckers lips.
I also use just the lids turned upside down on a workbench table when working on chainsaws and small engines. Keeps oil/grease off the workbench and all parts tools and pieces are held inside the lid. The round lid has a tough out lip to keep parts contained.
The heavy duty black plastic type with black heavy duty lids. I mostly use the larger size about 30 gallon (about knee high and 30inch diameter) vs the 15 gallon.
Start watching at the co-ops and asking cattle ranchers about such and you will get the idea. Some are not as heavy duty as others but FREE is the word.
I do love free! The black tubs come in handy because they are easy to stack more than anything.
I have someone coming today to give an offer on the entire lot of mags…..I don't know if they think they'll get my tubs, but if they try I'm charging them double what it cost me for them. I might just be a bucket sales person before the end of the day.
If you had four or five Gen 3 compatible Glock 17 mags in there I'd probably be open to making it worth your while…
Free gun mags with purchase of large black tub!

Time for some Mag Auctions !!!!!!
Now go buy a bucket of electronic trackers to tape on to the tubs.
He ended up selling the lot of mags to two different buyers…….selling them for a good bit of money, but taking a pretty big loss in the end. It was a LOT of work for anyone to deal with, unless you are a pretty large store with people to deal with it all. He got $5 for the used mags and $10 for the new ones. In the end he collected around $16K. My buckets are in the wind for now….but I'm being told "we'll get them back to you"…..I'm not holding my breath, but happy I could help everyone involved.
16k for mags at a reduced price, is a mega bunch of mags. Wow
There were a LOT of brand new in the factory packaging mags…..HK, Ruger, Sig, Browning and such…..at least 20 of the coveted Remington 742 mags, never opened. I think we counted 200 Glock mags that were brand new as well. There were a couple buckets that were nothing but AR15 and HK91 mags…..maybe two full buckets of used stuff, but the majority of it was new. It would easily stock any store for a good long while.
Just wow
